I just saw that you were referring to the video. Three different articles said up to. In the video, her exact quote said "33% of women said that they'd date a man 7 years older."

In order to figure out the exact stat, let's reference the website that actually conducted the study (the primary source):
Why four years, four months is the ideal age gap - Confused.com

According to the website that actually conducted the survey:

In fact around a third (30%) of women say they would be content in a relationship with a man up to SEVEN years older

More than one in ten women (11%) think the ideal age gap is between seven and ten years

The most popular age gap in a relationship identified by the research is the 24-month period ‘3-4 years’ (41%), followed by ‘5-6 years’ (28%) and ‘1-2 years’ (14%).

The people who conducted the study said UP TO (not larger). Only 11 percent said 7 to 10 years.

:sas1: I didn't need a chart to tell me this.

Statistically in 53% of marriages the man is at least 2 years older. For about a third of marriages the man is at least 4 years older. (Note: these two groups overlap for obvious reasons). In 32% of marriages the age difference is a year or less.

While slightly less than half of people said there was no ideal age gap (good call, sensible people), 33% of women wanted a guy up to seven years older than them, while only one out of a hundred women preferred a younger man.

:sas1: Feels good to be right...though I didn't need any chart to tell me this.

How exactly does that refute anything that the people you don't agree with said? In fact, thank you for showing this pie chart because it confirm what I've said considering the fact that only 7.5% of marriages have a 10 year age gap and that 66% are either the same age or with a 5 year difference (I said four).

One of the people in your camp posted another source that also supported what I said. Thank you guys for doing the work for me :russ:

Below is my original quote to you:
I wouldn't say girls don't like older guys, but you are fooling yourself if you think that the average 22 year old is trying to date someone 10 years older. Your freshman/upperclass example is EXACTLY the point that I was making earlier: women date older but typically guys who are still in their age range.

When I was 22, I liked 24-25 year old men. When I was 25, I like 26-30. Now that I'm 28, I go for 28-32 year old guys. My preference was older, but this is still within my age range.

Some of you guys act like we haven't been 21 or 22 before. Most of us were not checking for cat daddies 10 years our senior. When I decided to date one guy way older than me (I was 23 he was 32), all my friends were like :flabbynsick:

People like to talk in extremes on the coli. Generally speaking women date within a 2-4 year age range. Then you have outliers who love men 10/20 years their senior. Let's not pretend that this isn't true.

The reporter stated "The WRC adds 33% would marry a man 7 years or older", i'm not sure all those stats came solely from Confused.com, they may have done their own independent study

Find the post where I said that.

I remember saying late 20s guys can date early 20s girls......And that 30s guys can date late 20s girls.

Some bitter women in here tried to mix up the two.....pushing the age of the guy up to 40 and the girl down to 18.....to make their point when I never was implying a gap that large :stopitslime: I was talkin like 28 year olds dating 24 years olds and 35 year olds dating 29 year olds. This is the Coli though. And people are stupid :tyler:

At the 13 second mark, she clearly says that her source for these stats is confused.com. They also showed a picture of the website.

In high school, freshman girls dated upperclassmen. Senior girls dated nikkas who already graduated.
In college, freshman girls dated upperclassmen. Senior girls dated nikkas who had jobs and apartments off campus.
Alot of women in the 21-24 range, date older cats in their late 20s, 30s who have money, houses and cars.

Girls don't like older men though....

@Spoonz, don't worry about it. I'll found it for you.

The above post clearly says 20s 30s for the 21-24 age gap. Why did you say 30s if that isn't what you meant? This first post didn't say anything about late 20s women. You LATER added that demographic to say something that I had already said (that I am 28 and would prefer a man up to 32 but could possibly go up to 35). Don't be mad because you were loud and wrong.

Oh....I think you were the one who said she dated in her "age range" :denzellaugh:

You like older men. If he isn't your age, he's older than you. Its simple arithmetic :stringerwire:

53% of women married men 2 or more years older than them.
33% of women married men 4 or more years older than them.
20% of women married 6 or more years older than them.
I dont even know why I'm still entertaining you to be honest :stringerwire:

Dude you have been loud and wrong this entire thread. Everything you posted supported what I said that women date within a 2-4 year age range (which is their age range because you typically go to high school and college with people within a 4 year age range). An age range is the same thing as a peer group. Google it if you don't understand. Heck, you don't don't even understand how you ethered yourself (by posting stats and charts that supported EVERYTHING I said in this thread) so you probably don't understand the concept of individuals being with a certain age range.

You STILL can't find a post where I said women DIDN'T prefer older men. My whole post was to correct your misinformation by saying that the majority like older men within a certain age range.

I said late 20s/30s......YOU ASSUMED I was talking about guys who were 37, 38, 39 years old because that's the agenda you wanted to push :stringerwire: You wanted to push the image of an old flabby 38 year old guy dating college chicks, when I was thinking more like guys who were 30, 31, 32.....otherwise I wouldn't have grouped them with the late 20s dudes :stringerwire:
