:russ: at the clowns mad at shyt that Jay Elec dispelled probably the dumbest internet rumor in a minute. He specifically said Nas "NEVER" used a ghostwriter:

No, he did not say Nas never used a ghostwriter. His exact words were: "never has and never will need a ghostwriter" Jay Elec chooses his words carefully. It's pretty obvious at this point that they both helped him. In a situation like this it's important to come out with a strong statement of denial. This, along with Stic's statement (which were very similar) are saying: "Yeah, I might have wrote some shyt for Nas but he doesn't need a ghostwriter at all" :yeshrug: If nikkas was spreading rumors that Jay Elec was gay and he came out with some shyt like "Sexual orientation should not be a hot topic in 2012" nikkas would be like :merchant:

deal with it

I actually believe that some lines that Stic and Jay Elec came up with ended up on the album. But thats not ghostwriting, thats normal shyt that goes on between a rapper and a producer and any body else who might be in the studio at the time. Plus Stic Man already explained that.

Where Dream fukked up is her dishonest and deceptive way of using the normal creative process to try and discredit Nas. And the fact that she refuses to explain herself instead of saying "I heard some Stic Man lines" shes saying "Stic Man and Jay Elec wrote that album".

Thats why the "male power" or whatever isn't backing her up...cuz shes being a c*nt about it.

I assisted where it was requested with ideas, beats and some writing.

Why is this still being debated? This is an admission from the man who helped Nas himself, is that not good enough? I know some of yall are clinging to the "he just wrote hooks" angle but no one knows for sure because everyone is being vague.

I'm gonna have to go with the fact that Nas has had help writing his stuff and we might never know to what extent.

Spin it this way:
If in the last year No ID has seen him in the studio writing himself and coming with everything himself...I guess we can say he's at his best when he needs no help. you've seen the past 12 months of Nas features.

nas bouncing ideas off other artists (like any normal musician does), makes him more normal to me. i always thought he was reclusive or something

Yes we do know the extent cause he EXPLAINED the muthafukkin extent since the album dropped....nikka SPECIFICALLY explained what he's done for the album...ran thru his involvement which EACH song he's involved with on the album...BACK IN 2008....he's not sayin ANYTHING different than he's been sayin and if he came out and said..."I did nothing on the album"...it would be a lie...that bytch changed her story up on the extent of the writing MULTIPLE times but u nikkas chose to ignore that tho right?..she went from most of the album...to 6 reference tracks...to hearing some lines...even tho she's never been in the studio with Nas...none of that shyt...multiple people who have been in the studio with Nas has said he doesn't use ghostwriters...other credible journalist have said he doesnt use ghostwriters...radio personalities said he doesnt use ghostwriters...producers he's worked with says he doesn't use ghostwriters...even posted the nikkas RHYME BOOK..he HIMSELF said he's NEVER used a ghostwriter...and here u nikkas go.."oh the wording this and that.."..gimme a fukkin break and get over it..the shyt has been debunked...god damn already...
