No, he did not say Nas never used a ghostwriter. His exact words were: "never has and never will need a ghostwriter" Jay Elec chooses his words carefully. It's pretty obvious at this point that they both helped him. In a situation like this it's important to come out with a strong statement of denial. This, along with Stic's statement (which were very similar) are saying: "Yeah, I might have wrote some shyt for Nas but he doesn't need a ghostwriter at all" :yeshrug: If nikkas was spreading rumors that Jay Elec was gay and he came out with some shyt like "Sexual orientation should not be a hot topic in 2012" nikkas would be like :merchant:

deal with it

How is that not saying NEVER.....if someone never has done something how does that not mean NEVER?...

Yes we do know the extent cause he EXPLAINED the muthafukkin extent since the album dropped....nikka SPECIFICALLY explained what he's done for the album...ran thru his involvement which EACH song he's involved with on the album...BACK IN 2008....he's not sayin ANYTHING different than he's been sayin and if he came out and said..."I did nothing on the album"...it would be a lie...that bytch changed her story up on the extent of the writing MULTIPLE times but u nikkas chose to ignore that tho right?..she went from most of the album...to 6 reference tracks...to hearing some lines...even tho she's never been in the studio with Nas...none of that shyt...multiple people who have been in the studio with Nas has said he doesn't use ghostwriters...other credible journalist have said he doesnt use ghostwriters...radio personalities said he doesnt use ghostwriters...producers he's worked with says he doesn't use ghostwriters...even posted the nikkas RHYME BOOK..he HIMSELF said he's NEVER used a ghostwriter...and here u nikkas go.."oh the wording this and that.."..gimme a fukkin break and get over it..the shyt has been debunked...god damn already...

Relax B, I know it's serious for you but it really isn't to most people. I'm not gonna front like I read everything you mentioned above or whatever any journalist said on it because it never really interested me.

All I'm saying is simply, Stic said he did some writing for Nas. That's all it takes for me to put an asterisk over Nas' name because this is only what we know to be a fact. It makes you wonder who else he's asked to write for him, and which albums he needed help on doesn't it? Well maybe not you but a regular listener.

You guys are the only ones making this a big deal, it's very common for artists to work with each other, why the aggressive D?

If u ain't read it than u missed everything...all questions about what he did was answered before this whole situation took place...which is why what he said that u put emphasis on ain't a big deal cause what u put emphasis on was explained already...

So do you put asteriks over Jay-Z name as well? Pac? and many other legends who get help with their music? Its obvious Sticman helped Nas with the work they did together, he even said it himself, just didn't say he wrote his verses, and thats all that needs to be said. Jay Elec said the same thing, said Nas"Never" needs a ghostwriter, so if he "Never" needed a ghostwriter then why are people still trying to act like he had one? Toure denied it, Just Blaze denied it, Jay Elec denied, like I stated earlier, and Sticman denied it, people place Nas on a pedestal thats way too high from both his stans and haters

when you request "assistance" it shows your in need

so clearly nas was in need of stic-man's services and stic provided

u stans can argue all you want on the technicality of things

but there's a thin line between ghost writing, collaboration and bouncing ideas and concepts off one another
