I don't think Banks is cheap, Alchemist and Premier both said they wanna work with him
He's somebody that doesn't reach out. nikka on twitter asking which young artist he should work with, acting like he don't listen to anybody.
Look at his last 5 projects nikka always working with the same rappers and getting new producers to send beats smh
Yeah they said they'd do it for free too. Diplo said he wanted to make him some beats too. When diplo in his bag like that paper planes beat for m.i.a he's a problem. But for whatever reason banks has left alc, premier and diplo on the bench.
50 said it in his book. Banks has the confidence to say he's the best but doesn't wanna do any of the work outside of rapping. Put him in a room and he'll want everyone to come to him and not the other way round.
Even Freddie Gibbs said he reached out to Banks before and never responded.
Banks doesn't wanna feel the embarrassment of reaching out to somebody and getting turned down or left on seen

Which is a shame coz not many would leave banks on seen. Kanye, Nas, Hov etc have all said they fukk with the man. Even Kiss said during the beef with G Unit Banks was the one they were worried about and they glad he went missing when his pops died. I just don't judge the nikka anymore, I just let him do his thing but he will always be one of the greatest "What ifs" in hip hop
Banks one of my favorites but something hit me when I realized at LIU every mixtape since 2011 had a Jadakiss, Prodigy, Vado or Styles P feature. That shyt is fukking bizarre and lazy. People blame 50 but if you match his words with Banks actions everything makes sense
I mean this is just the truth lol.
I been saying Banks gotta get out of his comfier zone and invest in himself a little more but he’s content recording on his own and doing his merch drops.
It’s not like he’s been making trash music. His last two albums were both dope but I do think he’s leaving shyt on the table.
