This movie scenes track is a real banger and the best song out of all the cotis that I heard. If this album sounds anything like this I’ll take it as the 4th official banks album. Fno is def a real album too packaged as a mixtape def one of the goat mixtapes

:huhldup:Fans on twitter are crazy, i'm not a fan of the newer song as much but i'll wait for the full album to drop to further judge if it's good or not. Banks needs to tap in with well known producers, looks like they won't allow the unknown producers to shine anymore.

It's just that the new producers he's putting on are ass. Banks ALWAYS worked with unknown producers but they were bringing heat.

Doe Pesci, Beat Butcha, Jerm, Nick Speed etc.

I don’t think cartunez is ass though. Some of the shyt he’s given Banks has been piff. I think it’s on Banks to pick better beats.

I’m not even saying his beats are trash, but when your contemporaries are getting entire projects produced by alchemist and almost every beat is fire then it starts to become noticeable.

I think that's been my issue with COTI, even though 2 had some good ones (Dead Roses) but his beat selection sounds very mediocre, compared to something like LIU

It's crazy cause Doe Pesci has had some hits since he stopped working with Banks. Jerm was giving Dave East fire too

I don't think production is his only problem. There's also a lack of direction which results in music that doesn't really say much. I hear a lot of "believe in yourself and you can accomplish anything" type of songs (with some anonymous haters and unidentified obstacles thrown in), but thematically nothing really sticks, and imo never has post G-Unit. And that's even if you can get past his voice.

Yea the beats were more heavier, these newer beats sound like trash cans banging togther. I'm waiting for the song on the trailer, i'm sure there's gonna be some good stuff on this album like the last two. Hope he's got some out of the ordinary features too.
