Coti 1 is a classic and arguably Banks best project. You’re an idiot.

Im dead @ the dudes who didnt like Food or early exit.. once again focusing on production instead of the words being said. Banks and Styles overloaded on slick lines on food.

The hook on Regrets is so catchy. Whoever said this tape turns up around the midway point was dead on.

Regrets.. love when Banks raps with that particular flow. It seems like Banks blacks out whenever he chooses to use that flow.

There’s a million better producers (Alchemist, Harry Fraud, V Don, Statik, etc) that produce for his circle of collaborators (Conway, Benny, East, etc) that can make him a better sounding project with this same mood

All these low budget grim beats have sounded the same on the last few projects. The tail end of HHV gets better tho

At least he finally has someone mixing his vocals better.. 1 step at a time

I don't see Banks switching on his core team like that. He still pops up on other people's beats sometimes (usually as a feature) but he's going to stick to his team at this point

Yeah.. I acknowledged the mixing being better in a previous post

Cartune seems to be his main guy right now but it’s still possible for him to get a beat or 2 from some better producers. If Dave East can do whole projects with Harry Fraud, I know Banks can get at least 1 beat from bruh lol and it’s been 20 years since Banks and Alc collabed

Btw, Whatever happened to Doe Pesci and The Jerm? Or Automatic? I think Banks over Pesci and Jerm is underrated

It might be that Banks dont have the biggest budget given where he's at. He's feeding his core base and hopefully gaining new fans here and there but there's a consistent approach to how he does things. He's making enough to keep doing this and is fully independent to my knowledge

To my knowledge Dave East doesn't have a production team, he uses Fraud, Mike&Keys, Beat Butcha and mix of ppl. He might have a label giving him a small budget.

Banks has his own team and if he starts using ALC (which might involve added costs, being in LA or other complications) what happens to his team after that?

Selfishly I'd love to see him branch out tho, yeah

Beat Butcha is another producer that came from Banks camp. I wonder why he stopped messing with them

I remember after Hovain passed, Hit-Boy said his last convo with Hovain was Hov working on getting production for Banks. Hovain was also cool with Mack Maine and was gonna secure a Wayne feature as well but with no Hov, Banks is pretty much back where he was low key wit it cuz Hov would go out and do the networking. Banks content being in the cave, he ain't finna go out and do all that
