I don’t hate in Yayo as much as some people, dude brings his own unique unquantifiable energy to shyt lol but his verse in red alert is god awful. Ten times more noticeable coming on the heels of Banks and Spesh killing it lol

Notice on bigger headphones some of the beats are a bit muffled and the mix isn't that good, some beats are more poslished. It's a good album though.

Rotten Apple was def a time period piece for me and in the middle of the G unit hype right after Beg For Mercy so the time period def adds to everything and my age at the time. It is alittle heavy on the punchline but survival and change and being ignorant very early 20"s I liked it and when I listen it brings me back. To me its still better than COTI3 as of now but its early... and as time goes on I can see this knocking off Rotten and V5 on that list. He also carried T.O.S that was HIS album he was Jordan on there like he was playing on the Bulls in the 80's...

If we all think about it add in the triple Platinum Beg For Mercy all Banks loosies and his Mixtapes including the lost album (Big Withdraw) his Platinum HFM1 and all his Gold shyt, Grammy nominated and the fact he started in 97-98 with 134 Allstars and still here in 2023+ putting out this quality who started in late 90's still doing this in real rap without the pop I am trying to sell you something shyt added to it?...8ppl? 10? he is rare is what I am trying to say I guess...
Rotten Apple was 3 years after BFM :dwillhuh:

I still say they was tripping not just dropping Big Withdraw as an official album. It leaked but most fans didn’t even hear it. And with G Unit hype back then it still woulda went at least platinum. Scrapping it and delaying Banks for a year is one of the things that led to G Unit falling off way quicker than they should have. Along with waiting 2 and a half years to follow up Buck debut.

I thought scrapping the Big Withdraw and starting over was also a damn shame from a production standpoint. The two are nothing alike, there isn't really any G-Unit album with that heavy sample based production some songs on TBW. Was a perfect fit for Banks too.
