I'm just glad that in 2015 that we still have true hip hop fans that appreciate bars/lyricism/intricate flow/double entendres/schemes etc.
That's one of the reasons why I fukk with battle rap so much is because it's mostly about bars. Battle rap fans wana see how dope an emcees pen is. It ain't about your car, your bytch, the club, your Twitter followers none if that shyt. It's about bars.
Like real talk brehs, the fact that this thread is still doin big numbers and the discussion is poppin means a lot taking into account the current climate of rap.
Bars and lyrics are somewhat overlooked.
Banks definitely brought his pen to this project once again, maybe even more than he did with FNO. The production is dark and it compliments Banks style to a tee.
