Its kinda sad how he gets disrespected when even late in his career he could drop some interesting stuff now and then

That kay slay tape he made when he was contemplating having 50 produce his next album and was mad at Jay was interesting I think?

This mix tape is actually one of the best for that exact time.
He killed't it.

The timbo produced joint and every album after are high quality and are a textbook in making the rnb collab in an old school ideal but with new school flair as well.
Plus it features moments from the best double time girl records to the best verses and performances ever dropped on an rkelly colllab as well. He embarrasses juelz and freeway as well.

Just a great last run by LL, that also included the actual follow up in song series to mama said knock you out in its time for war the ufc theme song for that time that defjam dropped the ball in marketing as well.

I'm 29 breh, I love LL and I grew up on him, but nobody wants to hear that nikka in 2017, idc if he had production from premo.

Not true,...
LL is always a legendary girl song away at any time.
Hr already proved this on numerous occasions from the beginning to his cultural responsible relaunch on ten.
He ruined on accidental racist in one swoop.
Yet he is always one good song in his sweet spot away.
As the entire rap and urban industry is an exact facsimilie of his actual draw top to bottom.
Plus he has exposure via a great tv deal and syndication.
Including he host awards shows and has a show, too.

LL is always one girl song away, period..
You know it , and I know it.

Okay well what are these selection we need to place in the search wizard to find this great rap...
You nikkaz always flodgin on and saying exist cause it does not.

Art Barr

Well I made a Bronze Nazareth thread the other day lol. A lot of older vets are still making current good music. Dom Pachino, Prodigy, Slim Thug, Devin The Dude, Kuniva, David Banner, Ras Kass, Elzhi, and newer dudes like Freddie Gibbs, KRIT, Payroll, etc have all recently dropped something worthwhile. If you're strictly looking to the radio to find dope music,:huhldup:

All those nikkaz are my contemporaries my dude.
I know of them or know them possibly.
Like I said, who are these guys I should plug into a search wizard, that are new and not my contemporaries.
They just do not exist, breh.

There is no age in rap.
Emcee'n is a technical based cultural art form.
As long as an emcee keeps a sword sharp for real.
A more skilled emcee will always be more skilled emcee, period.

Do you remember his last song he was going to put out because Hip Hop wasn't up to par? Not even being a dikk because he's done this before....

His swords are not sharp. In fact, no one wants to hear him swing a new sword. Would ruin his legacy like when he decided to battle rap as a shark.....

People like deepest bluest (not me but people do) and he was the star of the movie and one of the few actual horror movie hero's who was black and lived.
Setting a precedent that the black person can live in zombie movies like Jada in devils night and in creature features.

My soundtrack moment from him is shut em down.
You picked the wrong moment to diss him.
You could have used accidental racist cause the moment you quoted.

LL rebolstered his draw twice afterwards.
That also includes a number one record with luv you better rhe series follow up to I need love amd arguably the third best girl song in rap history behind I need love arguably and know what's on ya mind.

:jbhmm:shytting on the same rappers that you molded. I defend the dusty rappers, but dude made a career off of being a teeny bopper for his time:camby:.

He is the only teen star to become a credible adult draw breh.
Do you realize how hard that is.
Only mike jack can Really say that other than ll, if I remember right.
Plus ll is the boy king all of commercial rap is completely based off of.

We gotta respect the OGs with our art. If Bruce Springstein can tour the world and drop new albums in his late 60s, why can't LL
Because a large majority of rap fans aren't as mature as the fans of every other musical genre. THOSE fans respect the HISTORIES of their genres...thus, for example, why Bruce Springsteen made $268M off touring, Paul McCartney made $110M off touring and The Rolling Stones made $90M off touring...IN 2016 ALONE. Those old ass rock artists get NEW fans with each new generation because REVERENCE is expressed within those communities for the history of their particular brands of rock....so they never "fall off".

Conversely, if you're a rap artist who's been out for longer than five years in TODAYS climate, yet you aint got no IMMEDIATE hit record, then people say you fell off and disregard you as a :flabbynsick: has been...just look at the responses in THIS thread....and that doesn't even begin to speak on legends and past all-stars of the genre.

It's the result of an instant gratification, "just add water" sensibility that runs our society.
