Regarding tutors. I'm guessing instrument tutors and math tutors. Unless you married a classical trained musician who works as a physicist, please bring in someone to teach kids excellence and discipline from an early age and have my wife supervise them.

I just think this is how people of decent means choose to raise families.

You’re talking to a woman. This bytch has zero household responsibilities as a stay at home mom/wife. I don’t applaud that shyt as I’ve met kids who grew up like that as they couldn’t give two shyts about their parents. Ehh, if the woman actually is doing all the work to maintain the domicile, then yes, it does even out - especially in the early years before school when childcare options (nanny, daycare) alone run $1500-4000/month across various metros
