im old enough to remember when Columbine was huge deal and then years later the Virginia shooting. But thats 2 school shootings over like 10+ years.

Now it seems almost monthly you hear about some shyt like this.

But my initial point isn't that these prevent shootings. The point is enacting laws similar to the top states in gun safety statistically are proven to help prevent these types of mass causality events. Republicans at every chance vote against them and alot of their states have very high gun violence in result.

The fukk does gun safety matter if multiple cities in the state have incredibly high murder rates due to gun violence the state ranks in top 10 in violence , and has MULTIPLE cities ranked top 25 in America for crime, mostly from guns. It wasnt too long ago Richmond and Oakland was top 5 in America for crime, mostly violent, mostly gun violence AT SAME TIME. Wheres your gun safety laws for that?
