He not good enough to have all the noise around him
Mike Florio brought up a great point this morning in that these might have these league phones the players had and that it's bad optics on them if they prank calls continue to happen.![]()
Son of Falcons coordinator behind Sanders prank
The son of Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich admitted to being the one behind a prank call to Shedeur Sanders during Day 2 of the NFL draftwww.espn.com
Wow.
A couple of others got pranked also.
I personally think teams didn't have him as highly rated as mock drafters and media did. That explains him not being in the first round, he has limitations to his game.
Then he reportedly had all time bad interviews, like boondocks level foolishness. That would drop him possibly another round or two.
Then prime went on a media tour claiming he was gonna "pull an Eli" and certain teams shouldn't draft his son because he knows exactly where he wants his son to go. That would drop him even further.
And then on top of that hes black and flashy...so yeah "With the 144th pick, the Cleveland Browns select...."
He’s is that goodI think it was a combo of him being not that good, his dad ruffling feathers behind the scenes and in front if we're being honest, Shedeur allegedly interviewing badly and a bit a racism from the NFL to let those uppity negroes know their place.
I’m willing to bet that the iPad locks…
Pops likely gave him the code
Lol why did you merge my thread here @CHICAGO
There’s no thread covering what happened, this is history
He’s the best QB in the draftShedeur realistically is a mid/late first to mid second rounder if he has good interviews.

They definitely colluded to keep him out the first 3 rounds. Its the only reason the Brown's Dillon Gabriel pick in the 3rd round makes any sense. Browns GM said part of why they drafted him in the 5th cause they didn't think he would still be available. That tells you even the Browns didnt think he should have slipped to round 5. so why didnt they get him earlier when they had the chance? So the agreement was probably to keep him out the first 3 rounds and after that he was fair game.
