That is true, but I think a guy expected to go in the 1st the day before the draft falling to the 5th is a bit more shocking than a guy expected to go in the 3rd or 4th falling to the 7th
Agreed, but that speaks more to the naiveness and ego of both Shedeur and Prime than anything especially since they didn't do themselves any favors the entire draft process.

Like @klientel perfectly said, it's more than likely a situation of where teams never thought highly of him like that and just a product of the media engaging for clicks and content.

I can believe that teams generally didn't think as highly of him as the media and draft pundits did, and I can believe that he was arrogant and bombed in interviews. You combine that with there only being a handful of teams looking for a starting QB in this draft and a slide out of the 1st round has logic behind it. All the way to 5th though with guys like Milroe & Slough being picked over him, feels a lot more deliberate and not just a coincidence of things lining up.
Ehh I can understand them because they have traits you can’t teach

I agree and that's why I said in the draft thread that him & Deion probably overshot how much leverage they really had to dictate who they would and wouldn't play for

I think his head has been bigger than his dads without of course being his dad and also being a QB.

Last type of backup QB you want would be that, and he was not QB1 material really. That could explain how he could fall so deep

Kid was the son of a coach for the Falcons.

I don’t believe it for a second. Not a snowballs chance in hell that his son just stumbled upon it on an iPad that was apparently unlocked if he got the number from there. Not a chance that the Falcons DC has the number of Sanders right on his iPad, especially when they aren’t in the market for a QB. This is just a poorly thought out lie.

They get access to all prospects not just a select few. Not specific by team needs or unit.

Data leaks aren’t logical…snowball of fukery that took place

1. The first issue is that the media and your Twitter analysts hyped him up for more than a year now, throwing around “first overall pick” and “top five pick” like it was a guarantee. When that happens, your casual fan and fan that doesn’t watch tape buys into it. Then when actual scouts that get paid by billionaire dollar franchises actually look at the tape and don’t think he’s THAT good, people look for other reasons why he was dropping.

2. There weren’t many teams desperate for a QB in this draft, especially when next years WB class is supposedly much better.

3. Then you have the Deion show aspect of it. Both him and Shadeur talked a LOT over the past year or two acting like they call the shots and that he was a sure fire top pick. If you’re not a Luck, Trevor, or Caleb level prospect, you can’t get away with that type of stuff. Teams don’t want to deal with that bull-shyt.

4. Then you have the rumors about his interviews, such as taking FaceTime call, arguing back with Daboll, and a few other issues. You don’t always know what’s true and what it not, but often times where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

5. He is probably a better prospect and talent than some of the QB’s drafted ahead of him, but if you’re not THAR much better, teams would rather not deal with all of the extra stuff that comes with a player like Shedeur

And, I would actually be shocked if it was a team iPad that wasn’t required to have a lock/passcode. It’s almost with certainty that there is software/application on the iPad that the organization requires that makes you have a passcode.

I don’t think he’s the greatest athlete. Great pocket passer, IQ. When the play breaks down can he get mobile and make a play. He got sacked a lot yes you can blame some on his offensive line. I think they looking at the speed and athleticism of those NFL defenses and saying can he make a play if the line breaks down.
That's still borderline prejudice low-key if true

I’m willing to bet that the iPad locks…
Pops likely gave him the code
