Dope vid on the entire process.

Been seeing a lot more people say Nabers == Harrison or at least really close.

The big thing about Nabers is he has the creativity to run with the ball. YAC is such a major part of today's game and really takes the pressure off a QB and it takes a lot more innate creativity to do than people realize.

I really want the Chargers to get Nabers if he's there. I think dude is the ideal weapon for Herbert because Herbert can already put the ball on a dot so being able to get the ball to someone on an easy pass and letting them turn it into something big would level the team up more than a WR who can make difficult catches.

When I do the eyeball test of Nabers vs Harrison Jr my heart says Nabers.

@IIVI

the skills/traits are just :banderas:

That is just insane. That makes the "regular" view of the play more incredible.

You really can't teach the creativity this guy got.

Additionally, look at how casual that throw was.

Which reminds me, one of the best parts is if you watch the Matt Waldman breakdown they mention you can tell the base level foundation for these insane plays are very well in place. Things such as his footwork when scrambling and throwing are details nobody is looking at but are completely refined and there to the point you can see he actually practices this stuff seriously.

There is so much structure, pedigree and correct training in stuff like this:

Then there's stuff like this that is simply creative expression on spot:

Remind you of something?

I'm an LA sports fan so I got to see some really great QB play locally over the last two-three years with Herbert, Stafford and Caleb in addition to when Mahomes plays the Chargers twice a year and all the other big games through the season.
I'll definitely start tuning in to watch Caleb play on whatever team he lands on. That guy is seriously special. No other USC QB comes close. That guy's arm talent already puts him in a category maybe only 3 or 4 NFL QB's can match.

You doing too much. Posting like a casual. Nothing special about this guy. He's the same size as Baker Mayfield and he struggled with pressure. He'll get smashed in the league running around the pocket like that. He doesn't have Mahomes thickness and sturdiness.

He's not a generational talent so therefore if a team wants to trade for him like he's one, Bears should definitely do it. If they don't trade down and still draft him while trading Fields, the entire front office and coaching staff will be on notice

Absolutely false.

The season before (2022) Caleb was the BEST ranked QB vs pressure in college football. Better than both Bryce Young and CJ Stroud.
Non-casuals know these things :umad:

Also taller than Drew Brees and Russell Wilson and about the same height as Joe Montana, so it don't matter.

Prospect Fatigue, same thing happened to Saquon, Nick Bosa, etc. When you're at the top of your draft class projections for more than a year people talk themselves into the field being closer than they are. Nabers is cool, but he's not fukking with Marvin Jr.

agree with you but Nabers does have some special traits with his YAC ability and general burst/shiftiness. he should be able to take the top off too, hes gonna be a weapon

How did Bruce look with pressure in NFL?

Game is a lot different when WRs not running wide open. Caleb has issues seeing field with pressure, which is why he scrambles. He's a better athlete than Bryce, but I think he's more likely to get broke in half before he becomes the next Mahomes

Stop going for the hype and then watching the film to validate your biases.

He's a below average size QB... that alone put himself behind the curve. So if you're telling me he's going to be scrambling every other play, then he better have the awareness of prime Russell Wilson or he's food in the league. Plus we have to see his hand size.

This movie has been replayed over and over and over again. He's Baker Mayfield with a tan who's probably a very good line dancer with roller skates on
