just catching up on the OL combine - shiiiitthis draft is looking fun. the WR class looks historically good. gonna see like 6 wide outs round 1 potentially. lacking high end pass rushers maybe but the depth of talent there is interesting. I’m seeing a ton of defensive talent across the board, day 3 will be a big day for these front offices. gonna be some future impact players out there.
I would love Nabers or Odunze at 9 to pair with Caleb but they ain’t falling. I think the Bears trade back because Alt will be gone too. Can fall back to later in the 1st, maybe get an interior OL and find a WR in the 2nd
A lot of them really like Taliese Fuaga at RT.Isaiah Adams * slow, not good, hips not bad turning the corner, not an athlete
Joe Alt * coming in thought he was a bit overhyped, former TE, but is he really elite for the position, great length, not a good bender, avg foot speed, not tight in the hips, don't see elite movement skills, slow getting off the line/turning the corner in down block, not lightfooted, slip sliding around/away
Gottleib Ayedze * decent base, feet are alright, can kinda sink his hips and stay low
Karsen Barnhart * solid mirror
Cooper Beebe * really in control & compact, not super electric, but passes movement test, decent feet, nice ankle flexion, has some pop to him, ideal mirror drill, change of direction on point
Tanor Bartolini * knee bend is there, good hand movement, good laterally, nice feet/really good, lightfooted, good reps in everything, flew thru the mirror, can shift his weight
Olu Fashanu * not sure he's special, athletically
Troy Fautanu * versatile, can go all over the line, solid knee bend, solid base, has extra short area burst, easy kick step, lightfooted, good change of direction, good pop in the hands, no question marks, good player, elite mirror drill
Blake Fisher * okay movement, looks a bit raw, but not bad, not explosive, but moving alright, looks like a project, but one that can work, kick step doesn't cover a ton of ground, but in position, needs work but has potential
Zach Frazier * good knee bend, bit upright going back, was battling an injury
Javon Foster * great SB
Taliese Fuaga * good job staying low, good @staying moving & in control, better than imagined, am falling more in love, am impressed, can't believe how well he is going for his size, makes it look easy, gets in base efficiently, can't believe how explosive he is, has real juice for his size, not to mention he blew up the SB
X'Zauvea Gadlin * huge and not a disaster moving around
Tyler Guyton * lightfooted, keeps ass low, good knee bend, tight hipped, it's a problem, can't open up @all, might have to be a RT, thought he needed to show more pow @SB
CJ Hanson * keeps feet moving and does good job staying low, pretty quick feet, looks like a center, good reaction time, really good @sinking hips
Christian Haynes * solid knee bend, pretty quick feet, really gets out and goes, has some power in his feet, eye like him, has some explosion
Christian Jones * little stiff but feet are good, some limitations in the knee bend, plus athlete and uses hands well, solid SB
Matthew Jones * good base, feet not bad, covers no ground in kick step
Trente Jones * not a bad athlete, nice feet, OL6 @Michigan
Trevor Keegan * moves well, no issues bending, keeps feet churning, Bside player
Jarrett Kingston * not super athletic
JC Latham * doesn't open up & go, slow play speed, feet way too close together, has some force, hips aren't bad, flexibility, way too choppy and not covering ground, RT only, not super heavy in the feet, passed the mirror.... DND !!
Sataoa Laumea * wild child/all over the place, not controlled, play speed is fine, but not refined
Beaux Limmer * covers ground, good arm movement, feet move well, center drills easy, nice knee bend, good fire w/the hands
Christian Mahoghany * prolly best lineman @East West, didn't cover a ton of ground, stiff/staggered, moving ok, not super duper athletic, wierd technique but gets job done, feet moving well
Amarius Mims * struggled to stay healthy, really good when on the field, sample size is really small.... how do you proceed ?? (cautionary tale.... proceed w/caution.... if @all)
Jacob Monk * wide base, not explosive, bit high, but moves @good pace, not a great kick step, needs better play speed, had best 10 yd time, but didn't look like it moving around
Drake Nugent * decent feet, solid punch, play speed is solid, lacks initial burst
Patrick Paul * serious back bender, not gaining ground, heavy feet, stiff, not exploding outta breaks, way too high, hips not good, back bending is gross, got yelled @for not having enough kick
Jackson Powers Johnson * movement skills far from ideal, slow play speed, don't see explosion, step down athletically from top guys of past, punches well, hand work pretty good
Roger Rosengarten * not super technical, but gets to his spot, faster than quick, not a good kick step, got beat @SB team drills quite a bit
Kingsley Suamataia * athletic monster, good ankles, smooth in drills, athletic backpedal, has explosion you want, acceleration getting to spot is noticeable, fires off ball, perfect kick step, in control on punch, head on a swivel
Nathan Thomas * gets job done, bit high, solid base, not an easy mover, not overly limited either tho
Charles Turner * no major issues, keeps feet moving, overall passable
Sedrick Van Pran * more power than speed, feet do well, resets feet well, in control for most part
Good stuff right here from Kurt Warner about the QB's after watching them all play and breaking down their footage and how they process the game.
Ranks them:
Caleb #1 (basically calls him a complete quarterback and has a "unique" feel for playing QB that you can't teach)
Daniels #2
Penix #3
Nix #4
Maye #5

how do they feel about just locking in Alt at 5?From the Chargers' message board, who's looking for OL. Quick breakdowns:
A lot of them really like Taliese Fuaga at RT.
Next tier:
Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Graham Barton, Kingsley Suamataia, Trente Jones
Rather Nabers or trade down for a more traditional OT honestly.how do they feel about just locking in Alt at 5?
