But obviously samurai anime is much easy to adapt to movie screen compared to something like Cowboy Bebop...

You can call me a conspiracy theorist, but I feel like reviewers will shyt on something anticipated to get views in the same way Facebook uses anger porn with politics to get views on articles.

I don't think anything is possible of keeping up with the original, but there's no way Netflix releases it with this much promo if it's as bad as these reviews say aka making it seem like it's death note bad.

Or they just released a clunker, breh.

It's Netflix...it's not that hard for them to do so.

I generally vibe with these guys' takes. They were a little kinder than most, though they said the story is a flop. They liked the acting, settings, and effort that went into everything...I'ma reserve judgement til I see it for myself. Worst case scenario, I'll refresh myself by rewatching the anime for the 20th time or so.

Didn’t watch this but, Cowboy Bebop’s story isn’t told in a traditional way…..fans of the series should understand that if this is trying to be a 1:1 retelling in live action, it most likely won’t translate.

From what I've gleaned in reviews, it's not a 1:1 retelling but they condensed some aspects and expanded others. It sounds like it'll be different enough to stand alone, but that all the best stuff is what they've pulled from the original (not too surprising).

6 episodes in and I absolutely adore this show. The main characters are great expect for Vicious, whom I always remembered to be a badass in anime but here he comes across like a petulant child in most of the scenes I've seen him in so far.
