It’s all good.
A black woman got the top position in one of Disney’s main IP and it’s introducing black people in different roles to the global market. Between her recent role, Lakeith’s, Denzel Washington’s son, Michael B. Jordan ( with an obligatory rip Chadwick) and several others, black film leads are forcing their way into a global industry where they can be known for more than just music or sports but actually tell real stories (like TLM for example). Regardless of how the movie does, it’s another opportunity to show that people from the culture can branch out and hold their own.
At the end of the day, how can you hate on that?
