I think one thing the west just doesn't seem to understand is China will never expand.
They don't want to, nor need to.
If their 3000 year history, they have never expanded.
Why?
Because they will never run out of land in their own country. China is MASSIVE and their ability to coexist with nature is unmatched. There will never be a time where they cannot sustain themselves.
So what do they do? Play nice with EVERYONE.

This wouldn’t be happening if Trump didnt get elected. We didn’t have countries forming alliances against American trade and the US dollar was the most stable currency in the world.
All this talk about the BRICs creating some sort of new global currency is a solution looking for a problem. Trumps foreign policy is based on him trying to be a bully and isn’t based on some fear of some new currency. If he was really scared of that he wouldn’t be demanding countries build up the US infrastructure which makes us more vulnerable to outside influences. It would be the other way around and we would be pressuring other countries to let us invest. However that would also go against the xenophobia Trump pushes.

It’s not that hard. Having a degree, speak English natively, stay in country 8 years and you get permanent residency. 15 and I think you can apply for citizenship. Most jobs will sponsor you in country indefinitely as long as you don’t fukk up. Wife one of em up and you can get a spouse visa and you can stay forever.
