The early V6s and literally every other engine is just"different" to be different and a pain in the ass for me to work on.

Most Master Techs that I know hate Fords.

I'm just a gear head, not for a shop.

The modular 8s and EDIS setup is dope.

EDIS and Megasquirt is a match made in heaven. Props on that.

In retrospect I had no business driving that car but my dad gave it to me as a hand-me-down when I got to be driving age. Lucky I didn't kill myself or someone else.

I like it but the lack of power and options ( I got a carvana car) makes me reconsider

Charging the car up is hassle, especially when doing a road trip to Chicago, they say they have chargers on the way from indy but they tax, i did road trip from indy to DC and I paid just as much in fees as I would payoff in gas.....

The crown vics both have V8s, there gas guzzlers but they are pleasure to drive,

I love working on cars, its almost a hobby at this point, your 100 correct that Fords have alot issues to be different but in Indiana where I'm at, it's ford or chevy( with a Toyota factory 45 mins away )......

I only drive older euros for their handling,parts and working on them...looking for a CL500,AR156 3.2v6 or a E46 328i now.5 series E39 by far my most favorite, reliable as fukk and from 523 and up they got some go..the 540 with some modifications was my fastest sedan,the 318IS is the best 4cyl/16v they ever made imo,it will beat a 320 straight 6 from the lights if you know how to shift but I am about handling and agility,not so much speed.
