Them Lo Lifes...
That's not an adult buffalo and that's a female lion...
lol..The question was posed can a lion take down a buffalo..and that buffalo weighs more than a adult gorilla..so..:manny:

You're stupid as the Lion for trying to take on a 2000lb adult buffalo by yourself..

Some people..I swear..:snoop:

Generally speaking a single lion cannot take down a buffalo by itself....even the sixers win the odd game...

It's nothing to do with the size, but the density of the muscles and raw strength.

I don't think one bite or claw would do as much damage as your thinking, not only that but the gorilla would probably start rampaging in fear after getting bit or clawed.

Lions have trouble biting and clawing honey badgers, it's nothing to do with size.

Lions kill big animals as part of there lifestyle..gorillas aren't used to doing that they rarely fight in the wild amongst other species...like a fighter with no resume.

EVERY animal has a problem with the honey badger.....lol

What you mean..

:russ:
I mean, a silver back has thick muscles dense enough to not die after one blow from a lion, matter fact it's thick enough to survive long enough to fight back.

But can a lion hold onto a thrashing silver back? How many blows to the head before it loosens it's bite?

The Truth
Going with Gorilla but it's be a tough fight.

Lion can run and have claws, reflexs, and power but Gorilla has intelligence, ability to climb, density, brute strength in his strikes, and teeth.

Gorilla vs. bear would be good as well

You think a gorilla is gonna catch a boost and start hulking up with a lion biting down on its windpipe :russ::russ:

I'm not refuting but it rarely happens and with a male adult buffalo it wouldn't happen....
1st. Male Lions rarely hunt and they dont hunt adult male buffalo..they look for the advantage of the sick or young.

2nd I was showing you the power the lion has over a 1000lb animal.

If the lioness has the power to subdue a 1000lb buffalo, imagine the power of the male.

Thats all Im saying, dude...

That buffalo ain't 1000 lbs...

Male lions usually join the hunt if the prey needs help cuz the bytches can't take it down...
