:russ: I've had so many animal fights in my head. If I could, I would put a gorilla against a bear...
Hell yeeee breh! Bears are beasts, one of my favorite animals

On one hand, a lion has more weapons at his disposal.

On the other hand, I feel like a silver back could pick up and slam a lion with ease.

Good question.

:jbhmm:

I'd say the gorilla because it may take the lion some time and ALOT of damage to kill a silver back, but the silver back could crush skulls, break bones relatively easy, and in the blink of an eye too. Could a lion quickly kill something with that kind of muscle density and raw strength? Cause I know a lion would be dead or ko'd by very few blows from a silver back

I feel like a silver back would break limbs in desperation if a lion latched on to him.

Would a lion keep up the attack with a broken leg?

:jbhmm:

Silver backs are intelligent too.

It's a 50/50 fight but a male Lion would kill a gorilla with one bite or swipe of its paw...I think ur over playing a silver backs size and advantage...male lion out weighs a gorilla.

It would have to be able to catch the lion first :skip:
Lions latch on to prey with claws and teeth. At that it would be vulnerable to blows from a silver back. Which have the potential to break bones.

The question is, could a lion survive long enough to kill the silver back? Cause unless the lion gets that neck and gets the instant kill, he will be slammed around.

It's nothing to do with the size, but the density of the muscles and raw strength.

I don't think one bite or claw would do as much damage as your thinking, not only that but the gorilla would probably start rampaging in fear after getting bit or clawed.

Lions have trouble biting and clawing honey badgers, it's nothing to do with size.
