Lio loves his wife and wants her around. HOW DARE HE?! These stories weird. I believe that if there’s no path for a performer to be a star for you, don’t hire them. Period. Every wrestler u have under contract should have a chance

Hold on bruh

I can't bring my wife to sales meetings. I'm sure many people in various professions can say the same. So you really don't see a problem with him trying to bring his wife to rehearsals and talent only meetings? You can't see why that might be an issue with management? Especially when management is a crazy person who changes the entire show an hour before it goes on air cuz he's paranoid about leaks:russ:

There’s clearly a gray area involving inviting guests though. Lashley brought his son on the road with him a few months ago. It’s not like Enzo bringing crackhead friends or Orlando Jordan bringing an underage boy. I’d have to see more details

Bobby Lashley’s son...Bobby Lashley’s son, whose probably like 12 or something and for a special occasion. This is Lio Rush, a relative rookie for the WWE who wants his wife with him all the time whose not even involved in the industry in any way. This isn’t Jimmy/Naomi, Miz/Maryse, etc. She’s an outsider to the company and it’s silly for him to think he can have her all in the video like that.

I think you not seeing the point. His wife has no business being there and she is putting a battery in his back. This is white woman trying to get into meetings and trying to get put on. She is probably in the rehearsals saying you should get in more offense and most likely low key trying to put down people.

If she’s in the way and all in the videos sure, but gotta see the details.

Wrestling fans have some of the most assbackwards "logic" sometimes. Lio is in his chosen profession. This is what he wants to do and how he plans to provide for his family. And he's supposed to...not have ambition? He's supposed to skin and grin and tell everyone "I'm just happy to be here" and take whatever crumbs they decide to give him and make a meal out of them? He's supposed to be quiet and hope they "see his potential" and maybe, possibly, someday reward him? He's supposed to just chill in the cut and what, hope?

Oh, he's supposed to be "realistic" and just take what he's given and be satisfied with that?

GTFOH. Lio is supposed to think he has what it takes to be the face of the company. He is supposed to advocate for himself and make it known he has ambition and drive and wants that top spot. He is supposed to want to be the champ because, in the company he works for, that's the ultimate status of being the best at what they do. Regardless of whether we "agree" or not, regardless of whether or not it's "realistic", Lio is supposed to believe in himself and his ability and let that be known. And that doesn't apply to just Lio. IDC if it's Bobby Roode or Bobby Lashley, Asuka or Alicia Fox, every single person on the roster is supposed to believe in themselves enough to think "I can be the champ" and do whatever they can to make that happen or wtf else are they doing there?

These folks out here really wanting this man to not believe in himself, not advocate for himself and not try to advance his career. This is the expectation. And they have the nerve to say Lio's the one being unrealistic?

Would you be this passionate if this was Baron Corbin acting like this? Let's be real. :pachaha:

Like I’ve said time and again, if they want to leave let them leave. If you ain’t trying to be the best in your chosen profession why the fukk are you even there? He wants the opportunity to be as great as he can. What’s wrong with that? Dana Brooke stays on Twitter begging to be put in positions she isn’t good enough to demand, yet fans are behind her gassing her up. Lio does it and its “he has to know his place”.

This week's WWE RAW marked the second week that Lio Rush did not appear. Bobby Lashley was not on the show last week, but did appear for the dark main event, without Rush. Lashley appeared on this week's broadcast, but Rush was nowhere to be seen.

We noted last week that Rush reportedly has heat within the company. Rush has reportedly made it very clear that he should be the top guy on the RAW brand, and he's not shy about sharing these thoughts. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter added that Rush is a very confident man and that can sometimes rub people the wrong way, even though it's what it takes to be a star in the business.

In an update, PWInsider reports that there has been a lot of talk about Rush's future within WWE. Rush was backstage for last night's RAW, but not used. There have been internal rumors of Rush being moved back to WWE NXT in the near future.

Rush's issues date back before 2018, but PWInsider notes that he has been a polarizing figure backstage for some time among the other wrestlers, going back to the November 2018 tour where he blew off what has been considered standard backstage etiquette for junior members of the roster on overseas tours, including being at the Gorilla position backstage to provide water to talents as they returned after their matches, and carrying coolers and drinks into the hotels where talents were staying, to set up a common area where everyone could privately socialize together. These tasks are often done to show respect to the locker room and the business as a whole. Several veterans reportedly tried to explain to Rush that he was making a mistake then, but he blew off the advice and complained to WWE officials, which didn't do him any favors. Things with Rush have calmed down in recent months, but there have been other issues. Rush allegedly has brought his friends and relatives backstage without the proper credentials, and there have been other moments where he has blown off counsel from senior members of the RAW roster.

There's no word yet on when we will see Rush back on WWE TV, but we will keep you updated
