He'd have to be as good as Rey to get that kind of push in the E. I don't believe he is but he has the skills to prove people wrong for sure

I don't see breh as a future top guy either but why is he getting heat for wanting to be one?:heh: They're mad that he doesn't know his place. Stop lying about brass rings and keep it a buck. Tell them they're giving 200% whether they're on the top or bottom.

Besides being a manager i cant even name one match hes had
Maybe thats whats rubbing people the wrong way

Once again Kofi is my guy been fw him since I was a young in but he wouldn't even have the title rn if he hadn't lucked into it and if he didn't have new day. Kofi is easily the least charismatic guy in New Day

It seems like WWE wants to grind down their employees and kill their passion, let them know they're just cogs. Lio is a naturally confident, ambitious guy who probably looks at his managerial role as a stepping stone so if WWE just wanted him for that they should've let dude know from the jump. I haven't seen any of his WWE matches outside of him getting squashed in NXT but I've seen him in ROH. The dude is an amazing cruiserweight wrestler probably their best and I feel like he made a mistake signing with WWE before he reached indie darling status.

Wrestling fans have some of the most assbackwards "logic" sometimes. Lio is in his chosen profession. This is what he wants to do and how he plans to provide for his family. And he's supposed to...not have ambition? He's supposed to skin and grin and tell everyone "I'm just happy to be here" and take whatever crumbs they decide to give him and make a meal out of them? He's supposed to be quiet and hope they "see his potential" and maybe, possibly, someday reward him? He's supposed to just chill in the cut and what, hope?

Oh, he's supposed to be "realistic" and just take what he's given and be satisfied with that?

GTFOH. Lio is supposed to think he has what it takes to be the face of the company. He is supposed to advocate for himself and make it known he has ambition and drive and wants that top spot. He is supposed to want to be the champ because, in the company he works for, that's the ultimate status of being the best at what they do. Regardless of whether we "agree" or not, regardless of whether or not it's "realistic", Lio is supposed to believe in himself and his ability and let that be known. And that doesn't apply to just Lio. IDC if it's Bobby Roode or Bobby Lashley, Asuka or Alicia Fox, every single person on the roster is supposed to believe in themselves enough to think "I can be the champ" and do whatever they can to make that happen or wtf else are they doing there?

These folks out here really wanting this man to not believe in himself, not advocate for himself and not try to advance his career. This is the expectation. And they have the nerve to say Lio's the one being unrealistic?

He's actually a lot smaller than AJ and Bryan. Finn Balor, who himself is a cruiserweight and around the same size as AJ/Bryan, towers over Lio. Dude is really, really small even by worked height/weights. He's BILLED at 5'6", 160.

:dwillhuh:

Rey Mysterio is about that size, and he’s a 2 time WHC and former WWE Champion who has been facing bigger guys for decades. Not only that, he’s one of the most famous wrestlers in the last 20 years.

This size stuff doesn’t matter anymore. Believability went out the window decades ago.

Though I agree profoundly

the only counter point I have is that WWE (and wrestling) is not inherently merit based. Sure, merit can be a factor sometimes (See Kofi, and see Becky Lynch) but if you are an actor on a TV show, tweeting that you want to be the star isn't how you become the star. It doesn't matter how great of an actor the man who played "Waldo" on Family Matters was, the show was written around Steve and the Winslows. (and to keep it a buck, it was originally just about the Winslows but the Steve character took off so they pivoted :manny:)

The same goes for WWE. Going on twitter and proclaiming what you want out of a scripted television show may not get you what you want. I have no clue what he is doing behind the scenes :whoa: but if it were me, I would be the first one to the venue each show at TV, I'd be buying the writers coffee, I'd be pitching ideas, coming up with and testing catch phrases on social media, etc. etc. in order to get a higher placement on a TV show.

I think it's fantastic that he has ambition and I :salute: him, I think he's great. A better use of time would be for him to use twitter to cultivate a fanbase that translates into merch sales, and a significant fan interest. Calling out boogeymen (for things to be interpreted the wrong way) on twitter is only going to make the people who make decisions sour on you. And in an industry that is not fully merit based, you have to realize that you can't just climb the ladder on your own.

Rey Mysterio is also one of the true GOATs and a special case. "He's one of the most famous wrestlers in the last 20 years", Lio is 23 and most famous for no selling a piledriver off a ladder in CZW. Let's not get crazy with the comparisons just because they're both short.

160 pound heavyweight champion? FOH . Suspend belief of him beating Brock? Lashley? Any true heavyweight. Just no. These threads never fail with so and do is being held back is 99% better than this guy or woman.

He shouldn’t have been hired or let in their ring, then.

Dude entertains me in the ring. That's all that matters to me. :ld:

:mjpls:

Might of been poor taste. :manny:

Haven't seen any other shyt to prove he's racist.

They need to kill 205 live and just mix it in to raw and SD. Give them programs, let them fight some stars, give them t.v. time, main event sometime. Let them cut promos. Treat them like main eventers. Give them the same treatment as the womans division. Someone will catch fire and blow them ul
