High profile cases have more incentives to get solved. Just look at the FBG Duck murder. They did that shyt in broad daylight in the middle of an affluent commercial area. The city want nikkas to keep that gangbanging shyt on the southside.
Yep they could solve shyt if they wanted to. They decided not to waste resources on the south side. Don’t bring that shyt to Gold Coast or Beverly center.

I think we gotta realize that this logic and code and just how to move period is not onky hard as fukk these days but it's ABSENT amongst the majority of street cats if not all especially on the lower level.

When I say street I mean a person that's of or embodies the drill or current rap culture.

The gangster/a element is gone. The only thing that's making em that is the $$$$$$$. Otherwise they operate like thugs/street punks, and that's all across the board (no :mjpls: just real shyt and in terms of a hierarchy)

@re'up @murksiderock

I get where y'all coming from and the dialogue and perspectives is dope, but ultimately that's what I've come to realize looking at this case and a bunch of other ones

Durk don't really give me them "I did this, I did that vibes", personally. Obviously the music is one thing. And to me, that come with being apart of the drill culture, PLUS being of age where it's "art" to put the shyt in music and live ya raps. Difference is now shyt is obviously amplified. (Not caping...with age, I've tried to put myself in people shoes and not apply my way of thinking or morals to it if I'm looking to understand objectively)

But as far as trying to impress brehs in real life with his war tales I think that's unnecessary because his story and rep precede him and was watched in real time. Him and the rest of the Chicago drill nikkas is the modern day OG'S to the industry and street nikkas brehs.

Not to mention, the industry in recent years been rolling out the red carpet for dudes thats "with the shyt" or super close to the elemnt... "Talented" or not... Casanova, Smurda/GS9, Doeboy, 21 Savage, Durk, etc. Some obviously more successful than others, but it's the clout and open arms aspect of people flocking to them, more so than them trying to oversell it.
I appreciate your perspective too, dog! I'm outside looking in too, I believe in how I view this but it's not objectively a fact, I only see things from my own experience!

Dudes who are Durk's age (early 30s), who been in The Field half his life or more, the only guys with this history who find it hard to move accordingly are crash outs. Of which, there are alot of em, this is why in real life you have "career criminals" in their 30s and 40s who always in and outta prison they whole life...

It wouldn't take until age 32 for someone moving like Durk, to get wrapped up, if he didn't have celebrity and the shield that's provided...

Durk happens to be a celebrity crashout, and let me just say I hate that the internet just learned this term the last few years. Mf's been using that term to describe nikkas for a long, long time. Kinda like how in recent years the "Pooh Sheisty mask" became a thing as if nikkas ain't wore them joints for years 😂...

When I say "crashout" I'm specifically referring to the tendencies of a man who has everything to lose by continuing to fuel violence in his city. This was only gonna end this way and he spoke it into existence because he's shown that this is true nature. No matter how much money or resources he's had, he's gotta keep it g...

But Durk is just 3 years younger than me, we should be from a similar era, so there are plenty older guys who should have told him that his demo ain't necessary. And there probably was at least a few people who did over the years, but when your nature is to be a crashout, your emotions outweigh reason...

If a guy of Durk's stature and celebrity, can actively place hits and fuel violence, and brag about it on wax and in interviews, he'd be doing the same thing if he wasn't a celebrity, bruh. The difference is, minus the celebrity, karma would have caught him sooner...

He'd be doing this "look at me" stuff if he wasn't a celebrity...

It's one thing to rap your experience thru life, this guy is widely known to go public about hits and shyt he's presently done. That's a crashout, bro...

I don't profess to know Durk's story like that, but I have really good intuition when it comes to guys in the lifestyle. It's just borne of experience, you learn how to watch these guys body language when they talk, you listen to what they say and can hear what isn't said, and I don't have to study it, it's just normal, years of being around Durk's and the same kinda people he's around. This isn't a clairvoyant skill or anything, it's like having experience with anything in life. Things become second nature...

Durk is a dangerous guy because of his willingness, clearly, to go pedal to the medal even given all he had to lose...

All those early 2010s Chicago guys helped popularize drill. Everything is magnified when you're in the public eye...

durk is like 5`8 150 on a good day. game twice his size.

thats in a LA club 2.

Durk and I same height, I float between 180 and 190, though. The video with Game doesn't really prove anything as nothing actually happened and both guys were squaded up. It's neither a bad nor good look for either, it's just two guys and they people exchanging words in the club...

I respect that other people may view this differently!

Durk has money, power and influence and has had it for a long time. So he's a dangerous guy. Some people view those guys as g's, in real life everybody outside doesn't, but it's all good either way because when you around those types nikkas either fan-boying or you know how to keep it pushing on your own grind...

i don't care about none of these street rules but nobody automatically assumes their homie is an informant.

I feel like that's just ignoring history and the person who's more likely to be an informant.
We are talking about nikkas who are bad at committing crimes

Which is why I said nobody learns shyt

Nikka if you out here doing dirt, especially to the degree of calling hits on nikkas all bets are off as far as assumptions:mjlol:

We not talking about a nikka working at the bank:russ: Dwight that works at Wells Fargo shouldn't worry about one of his friends being an informant.

But if you a nikka involved in dirt, you should expect dirt behavior around you:manny:

Mind you these same rappers stay having bars about "Nikkas switched up on me" "Feds watching, tapping my phone" and all that:mjlol:

THANK YOU!!!!!
These nikkas be typing dumbest shyt and think they something

Man von was fighting with hands and they shot him. They started the killing not otf
This is disingenuous bs. He came there with armed professional security, armed gang members from Chicago, and he snuck him. Had Quando started getting the best of him, they would’ve jumped and/or shot him, no questions asked. Quando said he felt like the devil attacked him and I believe him. You whoop a nikka that has admitted to killing and shooting several, you’re gonna die. It was a lose lose situation, as we see.

I still wonder did Quando and his team know who it was attacking him

this should be the context when people wonder why these brothers never listen to his advice which I believe is very sound advice.

The worse case about it is that the beef which was dumb was really over a broad that has since moved on with who knows how many guys and wasn't even quando rando but von thought he could bully quando on some prison yard type ish.
I have no sympathy for any of these guys.
