It's always great when people out themselves...they get embarrassed, boycotted, loss of job, or lose contract.
If these people just "kept it to themselves" remember alot these people have or had high level jobs, their behind closed doors block promotions of black people, or hiring, or contracts, blocking access behind close door.
Now that they put themselves out there it's far easier to get them out the way, and replaced with someone of color or a black person

Never seen it IN the city, but about 15-30 minutes out, sure. Southpark, Clairton--and the further west you go the worse it gets. You'll also see pop-up "stores" on the highway selling Trump, Confederate and Neo-Nazi flags. It's shocking when you first see it but if you live here long enough you just go on autopilot.
In the city itself it is entirely different.
That said-I've never had any issue with cops out here. They are a bit pickier than most at pulling you over for going over the speed limit, but I've never been ticketed or harassed.
