How has the power been taken from the people? :dwillhuh:

Its seems to me that we just don't have enough people that care.

Dude...do you not realize that "people" just means the majority?

YOU DO NOT want majority rule.

TRUST me on that.

Thats why i'm telling you libertarianism is basically whites trying to overcome the barriers to white supremacy...and i'm not even a black supremacist myself.

who said I supported it?

Why do you have to invoke "libertarianism" in this argument about foreign policy?

I don't know ANY wars that are "just"...but wars happen, so whats your reason for invoking the "L" word into this?
Because its the only political platform advocating for an end to droning and our involvement in the middle east. Both Republicans and Democrats support the conflicts.

The facts are the facts.

The government intrusion is an acceptable trade off for the economic freedom they offer(second only to Hong Kong).
There is no actual solution/answer. Its about making the best trade off possible. Singapore has had periods of full employment... let that sink in. Full employment with an average of below 2% unemployment.
add that to an annual surplus, and some govt. intrusion is more than an acceptable cost.

Singapore has demographics thats like 75%+ Chinese, 15% Malay, and 9% indian... thats pretty damn homogenous... and a population of 5.3 million...thats like...Washington D.C. :pachaha:

:camby:

Ya'll stay talking about countries that do X, Y, Z but ignore all the other tangibles like: Population size, populatino density, land mass, and other vast forms of human and social capital.

They're not the only ones near full employment, the Netherlands been there and I'm pretty sure Scandinavian countries too. All countries with strong social policies. And democracy, unions, etc.

Again, I don't see "LIBERTARIANISM" as having a stance on ending foreign conflicts.

Show me where having NO foreign influence is inherent in the libertarian handbook.

Just because yuo wanna be different and claim that "liberals" support foreign wars (which is an equally specious and stupid thing to assert) doesn't mean only libertarians have a claim on that front.

You're confusing political PARTIES with political IDEOLOGY.

So you're no different from people you claim to be better than since you're just a member of the PARTY. :usure:

What we have is majority rule within a set guidelines... No one is suggesting a pure democracy.

As for white supremacy, thats what we have now :heh: and they reject libertarianism, because it removes the barriers that hold minorities back.
Overwhelming majority of racist are republican, not libertarian. Stop :heh:

Point is for you economic laisser-faire seems to be the alpha and omega about everything, but the very example you gave shows signs of strong gvt intrusion/intervention. All the while other countries may have slightly less economic "freedom", but I doubt anyone would say that the countries I quoted are not economically free. All the while ALSO having political freedom as well as social policies.
