Wayne performed Drake verse at the 08 vmas
Doesn't matter...Wayne didn't "perform the hook" with it and that's still clearly lifted...again comments say the song was being played the year prior. VMAs was September 08.

Remember that this is the mixtape/blog/Limewire era. Digital music was still a gray area and the new underground, it wasn't the standard it is today. A YouTube upload date doesn't tell the full story.

Drake song was out way before the vmas. They wouldn’t let Drake perform it because he wasn’t big enough no diddy

No it was not. "Money to Blow" was not out in fall 07, winter 07/08, or spring/summer 08. The record was after the fake bidding war and announcement of Cash Money/Young Money signing Drake in 2009 after So Far Gone which stopped in February 2009.

Drake wasn't simply "not big enough", he was still secretly astroturfed act that Universal Records wasn't ready to fully launch. I think we know Joe Milly has no access to Cash Money sessions to hear Money to Blow reference tracks by Drake and cover the record. Money to Blow came was released September 09 was a part of the campaign to showcase Drake as the mainstream-friendly student of backpack rap.

We're not gonna rewrite history because you like Drake.

Still hurt that Drake stole money to blow lol.

Has it been confirmed this kids version came out first? Seems the OG Money to blow was the one Wayne did in 2008 and stole from Drake.

Once upon a time all of us was forbidden to read and write.

We stole bibles and dictionaries from Master’s quarters and recited letters and phrases by candlelight.

The North was our haven, fleeing fugitives now freed Men. Bare with me for a second, let me breakdown his sins.

The Yankees started exploiting black brilliance to help make their own pockets richer. Fast forward 2024 and he got the same agenda.

He runs to real geniuses when he needs to tap into true talent. Let me outline the scheme for you, this the real writer challenge.

You called Kia Shine when you wanted bytches shaking ass in the club.

The Weeknd helped you get your lingo and your cadence up.

PartyNextDoor made you feel like a playa in your head

Hush gave you false Crodie cred.

Quentin Miller had you and your woes convinced that for your career that there was more life.

Majid Jordan had you thinking you could croon better than Chris & Omarion but they lied.

You co-opt the pens of real artists when you need to craft a meal out of your pathetic appetizers.

You not a real scribe you a fukking PLAGIARIZER
