Nice stuff. I’m surprised you didn’t go for an Ezekiel when you had mount, he was giving you his neck. You could have also transitioned to an armbar too with the way he was defending your mount with his hands.

Good match. the wrap above the hips during mount was nice. if you place ur palms on top of his head you can use him as a base to bring your body forward and bring his armpits over the knees and have the op in a nice high mount that's difficult to get out of. Especially with the body wrap.
when you're in half guard you should bring the lower half of your body toward his back to flatten him out. We like the ops on their flat so we can take the under hook and the arm wrap, forehead on the mat near their shoulder and begin escaping. If they're on their side, they're workin and they need to be getting that work
Transitions from guard to mount were nice were good but watch your base. When you bring that leg up you should be aware of your base n arm placement to avoid being swept. Also be prepared to be pulled back into guard right as you bring your leg off the ground to post forward. that is the exact moment cats will pull you down.
He was so focused trying to push you away he didn't take some good opportunities to take you to one side like his coach was trying to get him to do.
What did you finish with and congrats on the sub/sub
we out chea
Bruh it doesn't take much. I did it in class, once it's set up correctly, flawlessSeen a guy hit that the other day during open mat.
