what about the kevin owens character do you find compelling?
is winning the dunk contest the same as beating the best head to head?
yes or no could mugsy bogues ever beat mike in a 1 on 1.
From a character standpoint, his big hook to me, is his unspoken, confidence, he's very vicious and calculating. He saunters out with that big gut leading the way and he don't give a fukk who thinks he's shyt because HE KNOWS WHAT HE CAN DO. He has amazing timing, and "court vision" I guess. I remember when he fought Alex Riley and Finn interfered, while he's running away from Finn, he just kicks the shyt of Riley on his way out. So subtle, so heelish, it's brilliant and you don't see that type of texture in wrestling characters anymore. He's a heel with great motivations and you want to root for him and see him get his ass kicked at the same time. Thats crazy to me. Ive never seen that.
His motivation justifies his actions and he has developed a very big personality in such a short time. He has more DEPTH than anyone on the roster right now. That's why he has 4 angles running concurrently and they all make sense and have stakes to them. He's everything Reigns wants to be. But Reigns has nothing that would help Owens. He stands out. That can never be a bad thing.
Brock is Brock, KO is KO you need diversity man. Y people can't see that is beyond me.
Because the guys who get built up, as you believe, get brought right back down. Only a handful of guys are on top consistently in the WWE including two guys who are mid 40s and a guy who doesn't perform at all who just so happens to be married to McMahon's daughter.People complain that Cokeboy doesn't attempt to make new stars or compelling characters then when he attempts to, the guy being built gets shyt on. From a storyline and real life standpoint, dude just whooped his son's favorite wrestler's ass. They've tried to humanize Owens yet show that he's willing to do whatever to take care of his family. How many heels have they built with redeeming qualities but are sociopathic?
because when brock is on screen you believe you are witnessing a monster in the flesh. a fukkin killing machine. when you watch a brock lesnar match you forget that this shyt is a work.
put kevin owens next to someone like tank abbot and it looks a boy standing next to a man. put kevin owens next to someone like brock lesnar and it looks like a boy standing next to a monster.
