Folks fail to understand that even though wrestling is thriving due to streaming services, it has a LONG way to go before we ever see that boom of the 80s/90s. The harsh reality is that its still a niche product altogether. Even WWE bleeding money with the whole Network situation.
While NJPW is the bees knees and surviving, let's be real here folks...the Dome will never sell out. Inoki could fall in the fountain of youth to challenge a fully healed returning Nakamura to headline Wrestle Kingdom and the shyt will still do average numbers at the Tokyo Dome.
