Nah im not really trolling. Youre too negative breh. Lets celebrate the renaissance.

I'm actually not. I'm happy whenever a promotion sells out a building and get :krs: at interesting shyt. I'm just not a blind and been watching for way too long to get over hyped over nonsense.

Yup. I haven't even attempted to get into that discussion because the gap between those who think Okada is having this all time great year and those of us who are just :ehh: :at it is so big that's not even worth it.

I get people just getting into puro being blown away by it but Okada himself has had years with just as good matches. Let alone countless of wrestlers over the years.

Flair comparison is ridiculous imo - but again, there's that gap between what people considered "all time great" - and to be honest is kinda silly. There's plenty of wrestlers that have had those type of years.

That match already happened breh (Shibata vs Okada). Not sure how many stars it got, not that it really matters :manny:

That's what I was referencing wasn't it a subdermal hematoma or some shyt

Its so real!!

Easily, while the first was one was great there was nothing making that match "six stars" or whatever kind of BS people want to say.

Kenny and Okada both have had matches just as good if not better in the past calendar year.

You don't even have to do calendar year. In the past 5 months they've both had better matches (Okada vs Shibata, Omega vs Ishii)

Hopefully they don't think the way to top their first match is by being even more dangerous and doing something worse than the dragon superplex.

There is no renaissance. A few more eyes are on the product but no more than a buzzworthy indy would get. They're still a long way before getting out of the hole early 2000's Inokiism got them into.

Folks fail to understand that even though wrestling is thriving due to streaming services, it has a LONG way to go before we ever see that boom of the 80s/90s. The harsh reality is that its still a niche product altogether. Even WWE bleeding money with the whole Network situation.

While NJPW is the bees knees and surviving, let's be real here folks...the Dome will never sell out:mjcry:. Inoki could fall in the fountain of youth to challenge a fully healed returning Nakamura to headline Wrestle Kingdom and the shyt will still do average numbers at the Tokyo Dome.
