The problem with this question is that people won't agree on what should be considered moral. So I guess the question comes down to this -

What's more important? People having the maximum amount of economic freedom possible, or making sure that people don't go hungry? Your political ideology basically depends on how you answer this.

that's not true at all, the fact that you think those are the choices (or that those choices are opposite of each other) is in and of itself an ideology

you arent being neutral, you yourself are pushing an ideology

the point of capitalism is that economic freedom is the best way to make sure people dont go hungry

i don't have the time nor resources to take care of poor people. i didn't put them in that situation and i'd go broke doing it. the govt can create policy and get rich folks and us all money to do it. i'm for that. but rich folks don't want to help for whatever reasons they have.

Basically this. Capitalism could be moral, if those at the top didn't feel the need to hold on to as much money as possible. Walmart, McDonalds etc, HAVE the money to pay their workers more money but they choose not to. You know how much they want for yachts nowadays?
