This unfair practice by Marvel is :mindblown: Don't they know that keeping with the continuity with the cast is vital to the ticket buyers. Ed Norton not being Hulk is :snoop:

:whoa:

Mark Ruffalo was a great Bruce Banner. Best I've seen on the big screen.

Didn't he mess it up for himself, like being an ass the whole time and getting drunk before shoots?

I would have taken the million.

It's not just bout me not having to work a 9-5, but setting it up so my family and their kids don't have to work a 9-5.

yea he was better in that role than Cheadle but he fukked up though by rejecting the studio's deal.THey had all the leverage:manny:

thats why i dont fault niccas like tucker, w. smith, cruise and them demanding a gang of money from the studios because if they can fukk you over, they will.

Cruise takes a % of the box office, not sure if William Smith has the same deal.

An extra $1M was gonna set it up so his family, and their kids, didn't have to work? :dead:

And spare me all the "exposure" talk....what did the exposure from the first film get him? Princess and the Frog? :heh:

If he's considered a marginal actor and a non-draw, then that's what he's considered. "Exposure" from the second and third films wouldn't have changed that. You don't ask someone to take 75% pay cut if you want them back. Everyone calls Marvel cheap for their Avengers stuff, but they're not asking those guys to take a pay cut...cuz they actually want them back. If Howard calls their bluff, he likely sees his role dramatically reduced thus his 'exposure' minimized.

Sometimes you gotta know when to walk away.

That was actually a smart move on his part.

If he took the substantially lower pay, it would have fukked up his asking price in the future.

He got paid more than Robert Downey in the first Iron Man. Who knew Marvel was just setting it up to lowball all talent. Had to be T. Howard first :to:

:whoo: Is this true?

if so, he has nothing to complain about.

He got overpaid for the first film and thought it woul continue.

I can't feel sorry for anyone who made 4.5 mil to be in a movie. Save ur money. :manny:

:wtf:

You typed ALL of this for no reason.

Go back and read my post.

I clearly stated that I,(as in ME) would have taken the role.

Not once did I even speak on that man because I'm not gonna sit here and play some armchair agent that knows what's best for an actor.

Of course YOU would've taken that role....thanks for the news flash :rudy:

Regardless, the point still stands: $1M wasn't going to set it up so your family and their kids wouldn't have to work a 9-5....this ain't 1913 :heh:
