Just got conned into a pyramid scheme presentation at 10 pmi thought this nikka had something important to say. It was worldventures I believe.
Come on breh...ask yourself...what respectable place is down to give a presentation or interview at 10 pm at night...

I think I told my story before on the old site but, I see this all the time. I got suckered twice. The 1st time was my cousin. He tried to get me into Melaluca or something like that. It's about some plant that grows only in Australia or something like that. I actually got a check for like $3.23 or something like that. When he finally got out of it he apoligized for even inviting to that. The 2nd time was Quixstar/Amway. My co-worker got me into that crap. And see his wife has MS and he was always looking for ways to make extra money so I figured it was good if he was trying it. Man, they suckered me in. I told my daughter's mother and she was in even more than me because she didn't have a job at the time.
I was in that shyt for like 3 months when I started to realize I had got taken. The whole time I'm buying the products from the website. I'm going to all the meetings. Me and my baby momma talking to people about it at my cousin's graduation. At the time I had just checked my checking account right before I went to the meeting on Tuesday. My shyt was $200 in the negative. So I had about $20 to last me until I got paid again Friday. I remember that since it was the 1st Tuesday that month that the guy at the top of the "pyramid" was going to be there. That was how they got me in. I met him at one of those book stores and he tells me how much money he got. How he hasn't worked in 15 years, drives a new Lexus he paid off in a year, and how he added a indoor pool to his house in Atlanta.
So after the meeting, he pulls all the people in his pyramid for a meeting afterward. I'm like cool, I can pull him to the side and ask him for a loan until Friday. He gets on to us because we didn't sell enough "product" or didn't recruit enough people for him to reach some goal for a bonus. I'm likeBut you know what, I still pulled him to the side and asked for $300 to get my account back in the black and then I told him I would pay him back Friday when I got paid. Basically explained my situation that I'm not trying to get over on him. That muthafukka looked at me with this actual face
Then tells me that, "this just shows that you need to hit the ground harder".
I blew up, I looked at him in his eyes and I'm like, "I got a 5 month baby at home, my shyt's in the negative, I'm asking for help and this is what you tell me? "MAN, MUTHA fukk YOU, fukk YOU, fukk YOU". I was going down the list, people came up like what's wrong and I'm not gonna lie, it was one other black person there and I went straight N*gga in there. Even my co-worker tried to calm me down. He grabbed my shoulder and looked at him likeand I was out smoking tires and all. My co-worker didn't talk to me for a few weeks behind that. But that was the last time I said I would do any shyt like that. And I'm still seeing these MLM schemes everyday.

A few years ago when I was still an undergrad in college, a bunch of my friends got caught up in that Quixtar (Now Amway I believe) hustle. It was pretty disgusting....this dude would basically walk around campus luring people in. Glad I avoided all that nonsense.

my boy did the prepaid legal shyt but he basically worked the system. he would tell people fukk the legal stuff we gonna hustle the company using the pyramid. he basically bought peoples social security numbers tho. repaid caught on eventually and cut em off.
