I was on the treadmill at the gym and started chatting with the guy next to me. Didn't even give my contact but told him the company I worked for. Dude had the nerve to call my company up the next week to find me and pitch me some marketing scam on the phone. If these idiots just put all that effort into a real job they'd probably make good money.

Three types of people make money off these schemes.....

1. Creators
2. Early adopters
3. Hustlers

The average bum that buys into this stuff is trying to ESCAPE the amount of work it takes to become successful with these ventures. Hustlers pray on these fools and sends the money upstream. When they saturate the market they move on to the next.

I think this shyt is all bullshyt too tho.

Some nikka I follow on instagram does 5link and he's always posting pics of his "leader" Put a pic up a couple weeks ago with this nikka holding a big ass 1million dollar check.

My only question is how do that muthafukkas at the top get there? Is it money only in it for the people at the top or is it really possible to get there if u work hard enough/scam enough people?

This lady at my old gig worked there strictly for the Healthcare Benefits. She used to show me her monthly bank statement cuz she was *CAKING* off of Avon. I didn't get it at first but she told me it took her about 2-3 solid years of grinding to get a loyal set of customers (she had about 50 guaranteed monthly customers & around 20-30 off & ons)...

Said she went house to house, did internet campaigning & networked at a lot of beauty salons, nail shops, weddings, baby showers, family gatherings, etc... girl shyt... & created a 25 mile radius of customers she could always count on to spend between $25-$150 a month on Avon & she would take her cut but that those checks add up...

Side money is definitely out there for the hustle minded... :whew:

I found out that the best way to succeed in those MLM things is to get a product that is not oversaturated the market and work it hard. Its definitely not for everyone, though. Problem is, ever since the recession fukked up a lot of people's incomes and made people thirsty to make money. The average 9-5 jobs ain't paying much anymore, and even a 2nd job will drain you from your humanity. That is why some people work in those things to make money that doesn't require life-sucking work.

A year after I had graduated high school, I was 19 and I hadn't enrolled in college (did so later) so my moms was harping on me to find a better job. Figure out what i want to do with my life type shyt. Saw an ad for $16/hr, so I said why not :manny:

Cutco/Vector Marketing.....most of yall already know what bullshyt took place :snoop:

After my first hour in there, I knew it was bullshyt. One....nikkas wanted $149 for a knife set to use in showings. Even at 19, I knew that's where their money came from :duck: Two....they wanted us to be walking door to door knocking on random people's houses and begging our family to buy that shyt :heh: I thought that shyt was like a call center type spot. Three.....the dude interviewing me just handed me the job and said I'd be making 100k in 3 months and running my own office :duck: Four......to appease my mom, I went back the next day and they drove us to Baltimore for a conference. It was so fukkin sad and pathetic. Looked like a damn cult. Like a scene from the movie "Boiler Room". I knew I fukked up the minute I walked in. 500 people in there harping on some white dude's every last word and he never once explained what they do or how they make their money. It was shyt like "you can be successful too, you deserve this life, dont listen to your friends and family.....they're holding you back" :russ: :rudy:

I felt like such a dumbass for riding two hours to Baltimore and having to stay and listen to this bullshyt to get a ride back home. The second we touched back to Philly, I couldn't have ran out of that office fast enough. told moms Id find somethin else. I aint pay them nikkas that $149 either :rudy:

Oh yea, there was this dude on the bus who told me he dropped out of college to go sell knives :russ:

i wasted a cool 2 hrs of my life on dis bullshyt...i knew it was stupid soon as we walked in...i asked dude, "well sir, how am i going to buy knives for almost $200 when im obviously looking for a job?":ld:

dude who "interviewed" us looked like a fukkin geek in a choppa suit

when a nikka broke, his mindstate will allow him to falll for this stuff...

my friend got "took"...

Those primeamerica insurance licensees will get you some bread in the real world..

I would try to get one

perhaps, but u should never have to front the bread (to get the licenses) when u work for a reputable company.

:what:

its not very complicated...

you recruit people who sell/recruit people who sell/recruit people...the more people you have in your network...the more $$$ you make...

they arent scams if they are actually selling products...

i know its hard for some of you to wrap your minds around this tho

Primerica isn't a scam. I got an aunt and uncle who have been in that for +10 years now. They are ballin' out the ass.

It's not really not a scam and they actually do sell shyt. Having to get your hustle on does not equal scam. You would have to work hard at it like you would working for yourself anywhere. A lot of people aren't trying to put in their work.

All MLM's aren't scams (ie. Avon, Mary Kay, etc.). Ones that have very low profit-margins/drastically overpriced items that are hard to sell are though because you actually do have to rely on getting other people in to make money.
