oh, ok. I was about to say that it's been well documented that Michaels was using drugs all the way back to his Midnight Rockers days with Jannetty . They actually had reputation for their drinking and drug use when they first got signed by WWE, but it seemed like it was at an all time high in 97'-98', there's just no other way to explain some of his antics in promos during those times

no drug tests from October 1996 to February 2006....

we'll never see a piffer 10 years :sadcam:

In 01'-02' he was over as hell, he was getting face pops the moment he stepped foot in the company, he was apart of the Alliance and it didn't even matter. 2002 i felt was the year WWE was suppose to pull the trigger and make RVD the next guy. Austin had walked out and Rock was part-time at that point.

I think that if RVD was a "WWE guy" instead of an ECW export he would have got the run that he deserved. I always felt that for the most part, Vince never really wants to push guys that he didn't help in establishing their character. Since RVD already had a fan base and following in ECW prior to joining WWE it hurt him imo.

I use to be a big RVD mark, and i remember being pissed that he got beat by Lesnar in the KOTR Finals in 02', because that year, the winner of the King Of the Ring automatically got a main event WWE title shot at Summerslam.

Yea he would eventually get the WWE title in 06' but lets be real, by that point his time was already up, he wasn't even the #3 guy let alone #1 , it was all about Cena, Edge and Triple H :snoop: :(

And that form of stupidity is what got them in the mess that their currently facing now. Mchmahon is possibly one of the most ass backwards muthafukkas Ive ever seen.

You see a guy with already established base and cult following and you refuse to give him a push because you didn't create him? RVD was HUGELY over so common sense would be to pull the trigger and push this dude to make big money! The WWF when they bought out WCW and ECW could have been eating off the talent pool for the next 2 decades.

When Bischoff signed Hogan, Savage and others from him, He saw it as MONEY. He didn't see the fact that they came from the competition or the fact that he didn't make them. He saw that they had a following and all they needed was a extra boost and thats what WCW gave them. He didn't make Savage run through runs chasing midgets or any silly shyt like Mchmahon would had many of those WCW guys doing
