u seem like one of them nikkas that just became pro atheist after having a conversation with a demonic individual disguised as a pompous non believer and now u want to share ur views with strangers because ure too afraid to share them with people in ur personal life.

1. Isn't this the point of a MESSAGE BOARD? :shaq2:

2. Why can't we talk about this?

3. Why did you click the thread?

4. why do only religious people get to have threads?

Most scientists are religious..... but i'ma let you cook.

did you pay attention in college breh?

1. thats patently false.

2. Most of the major findings in histories are connected to people who might have been religious and I can't blame them 300 years ago. They didn't know shyt. Of course they were religious. Plus, organized churches had the money to fund most of the experiments...until they were unhappy with the results...:troll:

Sure...when they ignored their religion.

Its like when people try to claim muslims invented algebra...well they were muslims...whats that got to do with algebra though?

Issac Newton was a christian (who was probably a heretic when he died but thats another story)...but whats that got to do with physics being right?

In fact, its well documented that many scientists (which is really a word for someone who is an empiricist) avoided certain questions or topics since it contradicted their faith. Newton is one of these people.

Imagine if newton didn't face that sort of internal strife... :wow:
So when a religious person invents something that changes the world or how we think about life in general... we say what does the religion have to do with it... but when a group of scientist are atheist.... Their atheism somehow demonstrates some struggle argument about religion.

lol, it's ok if you hate religion... but why do you have to be so militant about it? You can keep all this false BS to yourself. You seem pretty dogmatic and extreme in your views = to the extremest of any religion.

Now in your book some genius like Nikola Tesla is beneath you just because you are an atheist???:russ::russ:

Even if someone isn't religious but has some belief other than atheism... you, as you are doing with Newton, try to spin and compress it any way you can. :upsetfavre:

And you're completely wrong about Mathematicians.... mathematicians and people involved in Technology are more likely some type of religious or spiritual... I'll let you take a wild guess as to why this is the case.

Except that we can test what religious people claim...

Sir Isaac Newton: “Atheism is so senseless and odious to mankind that it never had many professors.”

Sir Isaac Newton: "In Optics, 1704, Newton wrote: “God in the beginning formed matter.”

Sir Isaac Newton: "
Regarding the Bible, Newton wrote: “The system of revealed truth which this Book contains is like that of the universe, concealed from common observation yet the labors of the centuries have established its Divine origin.”

Well...yeah, why wouldn't he be?

How can you seriously employ empiricism to make discoveries and not apply them to your view on the world at large?

I love how you ignore how much Newtons religious views changed by the time he died. he was seen as a borderline heretic.

keep sleeping though.

Knowledge shifts beliefs.
