Its not a conspiracy to front on religion, that your religious views keep getting debunked.

I mean damn, do you really think people DON'T want to believe theistic claims?

If ya'll had better arguments, don't you think people wouldn't have such an easy time poking holes in them?

let's keep it 100 right now... science is neutral, it does not support nor debunk anything purported by religion.

all us atheists aren't fixed on going back n forth with religious types about who's right.

Most of the scientific advancements in history were by spiritual people.

It's weird when militant atheist like the OP struggle to make some conflict between religion and science- when in reality..... the only conflict is non-scientific atheist like him using the idea of 'representing science' as a way to mask a unjustified hate of religion and religious people/ ideas.

Most scientists are religious..... but i'ma let you cook.

did you pay attention in college breh?
Uh, no. Most scientists are not religious. http://www.pewforum.org/2009/11/05/scientists-and-belief/ That 2009 poll showed that 51% of scientists believe in some form of a higher power and 33% said they believe in "God." There's a difference between believing in some form of deistic higher power and believing in religion. Scientists have always been on average considerably less religious than the general public.

Anyway, that's irrelevant to your initial claim. You said "science doesn't support or deny anything claimed" by religion, which is utter nonsense because science has disproved a lot of things claimed by religions, most notably their respective creation myths.

You should probably sit this one out.

Sure...when they ignored their religion.

Its like when people try to claim muslims invented algebra...well they were muslims...whats that got to do with algebra though?

Issac Newton was a christian (who was probably a heretic when he died but thats another story)...but whats that got to do with physics being right?

In fact, its well documented that many scientists (which is really a word for someone who is an empiricist) avoided certain questions or topics since it contradicted their faith. Newton is one of these people.

Imagine if newton didn't face that sort of internal strife... :wow:

I love these stats too because depending on the TYPE of science/field they study, you see that the more objective and empirical the study, the more non-religious. Basically social scientists are more likely to be religious then chemists, biologists, physicists, mathematicians, etc. :obama:
