It must be cool to just shyt on RD and IWW then?!

At the same time though, it's IMPOSSIBLE to pick a top 5 album from 1996. To me, the list just can't be argued with if it includes any 5 of

Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt
Nas - It Was Written

Ras Kass - Soul On Ice
OutKast - ATLiens
Tupac - 7 Day Theory
Tupac - All Eyez On Me
Redman - Muddy Waters
Slum Village - Fan-Tas-Tic, Vol. 1
Jeru The Damaja - Wrath Of The Math
Westside Connection - Bow Down
Ghostface Killah - Ironman
Mobb Deep - Hell On Earth
The Roots -Illadelph Halflife
M.O.P. - Firing Squad
The Fugees - The Score

the Bolded are my five favorites though

rd and it was written over 7 day theory and muddy waters for sure, especially lyrically.

still don't see what was so good about muddy waters, i'll have to listen to it again.

wrath of math was all production, jeru was average on that LP just like on SRE

its All eyes on me to me. Like i said in the other thread if it was 15 songs instead of 27 it would easily be the greatest hiphop album ever

Ironman was the best album that year, no doubt... Beatwise, collabo wise, everything. How I wish I could relive that time. My sophomore year of HS :flabbynsick:
