For the first month after it dropped I couldn't walk anywhere in Brooklyn or Queens w/o hearing the Blueprint being blasted.

Can't say the same for Fab's album. nikkas was feelin that Keepin It Gangsta/Can't Deny It though

If we're talking about actual quality........:pachaha:

Ghetto Fabolous wasn't in Blueprint league in terms of impact, popularity or any any aspect for that matter.

The album did well though thanks to the safe readio-friendly formula: Nate dogg (with 2pac lyrics), and (hottest group at the time) Jagged edge hooks, and Neptunes beat for the 3 singles. The clue connection didn't hurt either.

I think Cormega's "the realness" was more talked about than "ghetto fabolous" in 2001.

Like I said in the other thread. I remember a few days after 9/11, I copped the Blueprint from Target and copped Ghetto Fabolous from Brother Akbar on Broad and Market downtown Newark for $3. All on the same day lol

outside the singles, i liked 'one day' and 'ride for this.' we all know he can rhyme but his albums just aren't good.

there are 6 albums i've purchased that were so bad and or embarrassing to have in my collection i gave them away.

1. Westside Connection - Bow Down

2. Ahmad - Ahmad
3. Coolio - It Takes a Thief
4. Ja Rule - Venni, Vetti, Vecci
5. Fabolous - Ghetto Faboulous
6. Bubba Sparxx first album

:wtf: Really?

But yea, that Fab album was the definition of average. Not so bad that I would chuck it out a window, but not something I'd go out of my way to listen to either.

Now if your talking freestyles and radio appearances, I can't argue that plus, I liked all his songs with Lil Mo
