Agree about Ambrose. He's awful in the ring and for a supposedly great promo I've never been captivated by his mic-work.

Though, I prefer Reigns over Ambrose and Rollins. Rollins has had a pretty terrible title run that seems to be immune from criticism around here for some reason.

People try to rationalize his title run by saying he's a classic heel but having J&J Security get wins over you while World Champion is inexcusable. The only great moment he's had while Champion is his ladder match with Ambrose. And honestly that match was way too long.

Honestly, Rollins has been booked awful.

He's a chicken shyt heel and they had him relying on outside interference in almost all of his matches, that severely hamstrung his matches.

His match vs. Lesnar is the epitome of his run, that match started out great and then fukkery ensued. That's basically been his whole run. He had to switch finishers mid title-run, its been fukkery after fukkery

But truly, Rollins will shine most as a babyface, his moveset is tailor made for him to be a super over babyface

To me his best match was the 4way match, like you said Ladder match was way too long

ambrose is the most over out the 3 tho

and i like all 3 shield members, seth is definitely the best in ring, roman is definitely primed to be a main eventer in the near future and has been improving his game on all fronts

but lets be real, whether u like ambrose or not he has been consistently over with 1/3 of the push his other shield homies got

isnt that what matters most in wrestling at the end of the day

This.

I don't hate or like Ambrose. He is mostly just there to me. But man he is over, huge crowd pops everytime his music hits.

It's crazy because his promos are god awful, he loses a ton, and he is very average in the ring.

I don't even know how he is doing it to be honest, but people are really into him as a face.

good strikes are one of my favorite things about wrestling and frankly, its why I don't really check for ambrose anymore...bad strikes and that zoom camera stuff during his matches a while ago...just awful

This. I guess they just like "crazy" gimmick or something. Good for him though, he stays relevant no matter what they throw at him :obama:

His strikes/punches drive me nuts the most. Then again the entire roster does. Feel like it has become a lost art and just comes off comical. Don't even know who does it well now as most do it half assed also.

I think Owens is one of the few whose strikes seem like they actually connect/hurt.

I also don't get what makes him the lunatic fringe. this is a character that makes movie and comic book references on the regular. i remember one time in a backstage segment the guy legit went into a nerd monologue about batman and superman.

he is not a lunatic, he is a nerd

I feel like most of his fans are people who have either seen his work prior to WWE or girls that are into alternative guys like him. It just makes no sense for him to be this over based on the material we've seen from him in the WWE.

Ambrose is over tho...he has the charisma and should be being booked as CM Punk once was, an anti-hero tweener type cat who says whatever he feels.

His in ring work needs a little work but that's like 90% of the roster so I try not to get on him too much

I'm not too sure about his regular punches but Roman always looks like he's less than an inch removed from actually knocking people in the jaw with the Superman Punch.
