I was also paranoid of moving the console around because they said it would chew up your disc or something.

That happened to my 360 too. Could not put any discs inside it without the system creating a perfect ring scratch on the discs.

I bought my 360 right around the week Halo 3 launched. I just had got my first job and that's all everyone was talking about. I wasn't beat for buying a PS3 at the time(didn't have money like that) but a 360 was looking worth it. Ended up being my main console for years. The games, the controller, Xbox Live it was all damn near perfect. I feel like those days are all gone and everything is now available elsewhere. Idk what it was but I feel like PSN becoming on par with Xbox Live at the start of this gen and Halo/Gears getting stale did the brand in.

Them chinaman stole all Xbox online features and beefed up they servers for sure

Its still the best console relased so far this century followed by the Ps4 & Ps2.

The first Xbox and the 360 are the best consoles MS ever made
The first Xbox had some forgotten gems like Crimson Skies, Jet Set Radio Future, , Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic, and Jade Empire

Man freshman year in high school I was coordinating multiple full-length video projects with people around the world just to play ea skate. I learned video editing, graphic design, and networking skills all from trying to flex my skills with the homies. That alone was groundbreaking for me but I still got countless memories playing Halo, Mass Effect, Oblivion & Fallout

I had a 360. Was only able to play it maybe 20 times or less but that red ring kept coming up. I was too busy at that point in my life to care. I ended up giving my hard drive and controllers to my nephew

I’ve said this before, I had my 360 modded back in 07 and that was greatest gift I had besides my og Xbox being modded. My favorite controller, dope online community with the fukkery, and most multi title games ran better. My gamer score is past 60000, I eventually got banned for shytty ass Halo 4

The euphoria I would get when a new rip dropped can never be duplicated


I really hope M$ comes with that heat next gen, games like Gears and Halo deserve better than what the X1 provided.
