Lets not forget that Kobe Bryant won 2 championships with a sidekick worse than Kevin Love

2010 Celtics had 4 all-stars. 2018 Warriors have 4 all-stars. Kobe had Gasol. LeBron has Love.

Kobe won the title.

LeBron has no excuse to not beat this Warriors team that the Rockets would have defeated if Chris Paul didn't get hurt.
that aarp celtics squad is in no way comparable to the.dubs

Pau Gasol (before he joined Kobe), according to stats, which I'm told by LeBron stans is how to "objectively" judge a player, is a worse basketball player than Kevin Love (before he joined LeBron).

Here are the OBJECTIVE and UNBIASED numbers for all to see.

Kevin Love (Per 36 mins) on Minnesota (6 seasons): Kevin Love Stats | Basketball-Reference.com
21.1 PPG (56.6 TS%)
13.4 RPG

2.7 APG
0.7 SPG
0.5 BPG
23.2 PER
- 3-time NBA All-Star
- 2nd team All-NBA (2x)

Pau Gasol (Per 36 mins) on Memphis (7 seasons): Pau Gasol Stats | Basketball-Reference.com
19.1 PPG (56.6 TS%)
8.7 RPG
3.1 APG
0.5 SPG
1.9 BPG
21.6 PER
- 1-time NBA All-Star
- no All-NBA selections

Looking at the numbers, there is a clear edge to Kevin Love in almost every category outside of blocks and assists. The advanced stats like PER also favor Kevin Love over Pau Gasol (23.2 vs 21.6). Also when you look at the awards (like All-Star and All-NBA selections), they also favor Kevin Love over Pau Gasol. Before joining Kobe, Pau was a 1-time All-Star and never made an All-NBA team. While Kevin Love (before joining LeBron) was a 3-time All-Star and 2-time All-NBA 2nd team selection.

LeBron has zero excuses to not a ring this year if we're to believe that he's better than Kobe as his stans always say. Kobe took a worse player statistically than Kevin Love to 3 straight finals and won back to back rings. If Kobe can win 2 rings with just Pau Gasol, LeBron has no excuse for not winning with just Kevin Love.

Have you not been watching the Rockets/Warriors series? Those clowns got luck and the refs on their sides and it still took them 7 games. Healthy Chris Paul and the Rockets win in 6. Even without CP3, they should have won game 7 if not for the referees blatant cheating.

This Warriors team is the most overrated team in NBA history. I would take the 2010 Celtics over them in a heartbeat. That team actually could play basketball and didn't need their opponents to get injured and the refs on their side to win.

Kobe beat a tougher opponent (2010 Celtics > 2018 Warriors) with an inferior sidekick (Kevin Love before LeBron statistically > Pau Gasol before Kobe).

Bron stans tell me stats is how we should judge players. And based on the stats, before he joined Kobe Pau Gasol was not as good as Kevin Love (before he joined LeBron).

Men lie. Women lie. Numbers don't.

I believe the Celtics would win in 5-6 games. It would be an easy Celtics victory. They don't play a gimmick style like the Warriors. Even in Game 7 against the Rockets (which are not a talent team by any stretch) it took the Rockets going cold to an epic extent paired with clear cheating by the referees to escape.

Celtics would physically maul them. Celtics may have been old but they would get enough rest in between the games in the NBA Finals.

James Harden, Chris Paul (for only 5 games), and Eric Gordon pushed this team to 7 games. How can you say that Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Rajon Rondo couldn't beat them?

Ya'll nikkas are just fooled by the fact this is such a weak era that you think the Warriors dominating it makes them great. Nah. All it makes them is the tallest midget.

Whose better? LeBron in 2010 or Harden in 2018? Cause I saw that 2010 Celtics team steamroll a 60+ win team led by LeBron James in the Eastern Conference Finals.

We just saw the Warriors struggle in 7 games against a 65 win Rockets team. Unless you think James Harden is in the same class as LeBron, I don't know how you can argue that this Warriors team is anything special. They've just got you and everyone else fooled because the competition right now in the NBA is all-time weak.

And FTR, CP3 is 33 this year. In 2010, Pierce was 33, KG 34, and Ray Allen 35. So not a huge difference.

who was the #2 option on that cavs squad¿

rockets aren't the dubs but hey definitely more talented than the cavs squad that made bron go mia

& unless you are rare everything after 30 is washed in the league so yeah the celtics big three were all on the clothesline at that point

I would take that 2010 Cavs team over the 2018 Rockets easily.

Mainly cause 2010 LeBron>>>any version of Harden. But also beyond that, the Cavs had a nice squad that year. Mo Williams was an all-star caliber PG. Definitely not in the CP3 class but a good shooter who doesn't need to dominate the ball to play alongside LeBron. Big Z was still a great center. He could post up and shoot the mid-range jump shot. Varejo gave you what Clint Capela essentially does. Great defense and finishing near the rim. Delonte West was a good shooter off the bench who could get his own shot. Antawn Jamison was past his prime at 33 years old but he could still score. JJ Hickson was actually good back then as a rim running energy big. Anthony Parker was a great 3nD SF. And even Jamario Moon gave them good minutes of the bench as an athletic wing defender.

No doubt in my mind, 2010 Cavs would body the 2018 Rockets.
