I agree except for the bolded because Lawrence put them in that hole in the first place. If the Chargers coach wasn’t such a dumbass playing not to lose (which I’m all too familiar with as a Bears fan), the Jags never get back in that game.I'll just say....what's the reaction from the (white) NFL media/hot take mafia if Love gave up that lead yesterday or if Stroud flopped on Saturday. What's the reaction if both QBs had two disappointing seasons in a row. So if they can do that "is he the right guy/can he read defenses/it's time to draft another QB" shyt whenever a black QB fukks up you bet your ass I got no issue with this thread.
Stroud looked elite on Saturday, Love looked magnificent on Sunday. Zero turnovers. Anyone notice how Lawrence is a turnover machine and nobody asks if he's reading defenses well enough? Funny how that works huh. I'll give Lawrence credit for an amazing comeback playoff win last season but outside of that? Ehhh....

Be careful. The Herbert brigade gonna come for your neck.until the Jags and Charges start winning , I am not trying to hear the mainstream sports media kiss their asses & placed both of them in the top tier QB’s above these brothers
Funny how Herbert did the exact thing last year and the media went into hiding. Anything to protect Jeff George 2.0I'll just say....what's the reaction from the (white) NFL media/hot take mafia if Love gave up that lead yesterday or if Stroud flopped on Saturday. So why did you 1 star this thread then if you agree? They're both way better than Lamar too who has a 1-3 record and 3-5 TD/INT ratio.
Herbert deserves credit for the loss too. They scored 3 points in the final 34 minutes of that game. I notice a pattern where he gets praise but no criticism. I get it, he's tall white with a big arm.I agree except for the bolded because Lawrence put them in that hole in the first place. I have definitely been critical of Herbert.Herbert deserves credit for the loss too. They scored 3 points in the final 34 minutes of that game. I notice a pattern where he gets praise but no criticism. I get it, he's tall white with a big arm.
His senior year sucked because his whole team got a overhaul from players to coaches. You cant expect a college kid to over come new players and system in a weak ass mountain west conference team. Packers saw past that BS and now its paying dividends.CJ might be the black Brady. People forget how love was looking in college. Had a bad senior year but he was doing all that off platform, rocket throws. His ceiling was sky high. Packers did right by him
Oh I know. I liked him coming out of college a lot. Can’t teach the throws he was making. Perfectly executed development by the packers. I wish more teams would learn instead of throwing rookies into the fire then abandoning them by year 3. On average, I’d say it takes 2-3 full years in a stable environment for young QBs to show you whether they’ve got it or don’t. Strouds and Herbert’s are rarities like Trae young and LukaHis senior year sucked because his whole team got an overhaul from players to coaches. Leave Herbert out of this
