Let's end this pro boxer vs coli discussion. Anybody decent in grappling could easily beat a pro lightweight boxer.

That's not the thread title basis.

You can beat a light weight pro boxer if you have grappling experience or a muay thai background.

I think people forget that Wrestlers aren't slow. They're explosive, agile, and flexible while also able to take damage themselves. Probably the best footwork behind boxing because of the constant movement and angles they attack from.

Be honest. You think your boxing will easily work against this? That first punch gotta knock em out

Why are we using legendary wrestling in mid-high weight classes to prove a point :dead:

Just as easily could up a vid of a cruiserweight ko highlights and ask do you think they could take that punch flush, with no gloves

Boxing will ALWAYS be the superior art form, because the overwhelming majority of people have no clue how to throw a proper punch.

Put some boxing gloves on and start hitting the Heavy Bag, people instantly look lost. No power, all arms, off balance, no purpose for throwing each punch either, poor stance, footwork, uncoordinated. Obviously no stamina either. Same goes for Shadow Boxing, it never looks like they are actually fighting an invisible opponent.

That Wrestling and MMA shyt is for people scared to go toe to toe, and since most people have no clue anyway how to properly fight and defend themselves, it always will look like it's the dominant artform, but in reality it covers up their inability to see you with the hands, in which they will be exposed for the frauds they are.

Mma threads in tlr are always entertaining, just the hottest, dumbest takes possible. It's like a competition, and everyone wins, and loses. :blessed:
I am really glad this thread is the definitive end of this discussion.

If we're going to be honest, trying to fight multiple assailant in the street is a recipe for disaster unless you are fighting unarmed dwarves.

Unless you somehow got Spidey Sense to see the punches coming for the back of your head, you're better off bailing out of there. Not mention all this fisticuffs/martial arts nonsense goes out the window when dirty tricks, guns, and knives start to enter the picture.
The funny thing is, the whole time I'm thinking about my post, I'm thinking about the Spider Man game engine and I'm like "There's no grappling whn you're fighting multiple assailants". I'm sucha nerd man :mjlol:
