Let's end this pro boxer vs coli discussion. Anybody decent in grappling could easily beat a pro lightweight boxer.

That’s not how that works, also the weirdo insecurity people have towards boxers these days is real suspect, especially since people realized all the top stars and most efficient of the art are on the shorty side of life.

Short brehs hang in there, we got these mat fakkits mad

A boxer is beating a Muay Thai dude under boxing rules but not under MMA/Muay Thai regulations. Not that ground breaking.

Same for any grappling discipline. And guess who usually comes out on top? And it you pull guard c00ns with zero hands.

I can be real real petty and touch on how :mjpls::dame:BJJ is but lets keep it fun. Anyway, fukk them girls

That's exactly how it works. Boxers do not have takedown defense or grappling defense. They would get bodied by a Wrestler/BJJ/Judo/Thai Clinch

You do realize there’s clinching in boxing right?

what does that have to do with boxers getting smoked by grapplers?

Every MMA fighter thats hopped over to boxing is getting dog walked

I feel like its useful in 1 on 1 situations, but grappling takes time. Striking is definitely the quickest way to handle multiple attackers if you can one shot, or at least back people up. This is all what my theoretical mind is thinking tho. I've never fought multiple people before
also the best way to deal with people who have a weapon, grappling a dude with a knife is a death sentence to the grappler. Knocking him out and taking the knife however, i've witnessed happen many times and even dealt with a gun weilding assailent myself once. with my limited boxing background.

this mma bjj stuff requires very specific conditions to be effective, mostly built for competition

Yes there's clinch work, but grapplers are masters at clinching and body manipulation. A boxer can't go against a grappler in clinch. Don't get me wrong, I love boxing, but the argument is can a coli member beat a light weight pro boxer. He can if he has grappler experience.

And Yeah MMA fighters don't have the master skill of boxing, so they definitely getting washed in boxing rules. On the streets? Could go either way, but I'm putting money on the boxer because of superior striking.

Do you train a martial art?

Then why are most MMA fighters incorporating boxing into their skillset

they literally stop the fight when they clinch in boxing for too long, in MMA and Muay Thai it's wayyyy more expanded

No shyt. On hands alone boxers are whopping both MMA and Muay Thai dudes easily.

Hell lets not even get into movement why boxers have a better advantage
