This is tough for NY... toss up between Jay, Biggie, Diddy, Mike Tyson and 2pac.

Lol... Jay Biggie Diddy and even Pac don't deserve to be in the same sentence as Mike Tyson if you're talking worldwide fame. :mjlol:

American fame maybe, but back when boxing was the worlds sport, Mike was on top.

The obamas aren’t born in Chicago if birthplace is what we’re using, only Michelle is and no I don’t think the a lot of the world knows or cares about that :francis:

I thought about this before I said rose and just off the fact he’s associated with the Chicago bulls and was/is still very popular in China, the most populous country in the world would probably making him more famous when it comes to Chicago/Illinois.

worldwide the Obama’s are associated with the presidency and the United States in general :yeshrug:

That's completely false.

The Obamas are open Chicagoans.

Obama rocks the White Sox hat

Obama's in the Bulls "Last Dance" documentary.

His chief of staff went on to be Mayor of Chicago.

Like, when you think Chicago, you think Oprah, Jordan, Al Capone & The Obamas. :dwillhuh:

If anything, a lot of people probably think Barack was born in Chicago too because of how associated he is with the city.

Don’t even know how you’d do this for Cali...black culture, white culture, sports, music, movies, business, politics, famous for no reason (i.e. kardashians). And are you talking born there or made their name there.

Hell no, it's Michael Jackson and there's no debate. He's lived in Cali since he was 10 years old and may well be the most famous Black man ever.

Pac definitely deserves to be there. I’ve seen pac murals in my travels to Bali, Japan, Morocco, India, Iceland. I can’t say how big boxing was in those countries, but Pac had reach

Looks like Florida is a tough one. Not many options it seems. A good one I see tho is Emmitt Smith. Born and raised in Florida and played football at the University of Florida before getting drafted to the Cowboys.
