I think people are looking tooooo far into this shyt:yeshrug:

First of all, nobody in their right mind checks for Drake strictly for lyrics. I know I don't. To me he is not in the category of people like Jay, Nas, etc. I check for his songs. His overall music. Drake as a rapper is decent with flashes of brilliance at best to me but that's it. Drake as a songwriter is great. Secondly, I highly doubt the majority of his good shyt is "ghostwritten" in the same sense that someone like Dr. Dre gets his shyt ghostwritten. I'm willing to bet there are actual "frauds" we don't know about:ehh:

"Doggystyle" is 11 Songs if you count "Gz Up Hoes Down" and "Nothin But A 'G' Thang Part 2 aka Tha Next Episode"... and that would exclude "Lodi Dodi"

"Tha Shiznit" was a freestyle.

I have no issues in agreeing that Snoop had some help here n there (The D.O.C, RBX, and maybe Kurupt tho idk) but that's all Snoop foreal. You forget he wrote "Deep Cover"

I could be wrong but idk, I don't think so
i have no issues with Snoop having help/writers with songs as well.. its part of the business.. hell.. even recently- Everlast wrote a good bit of The Blue Carpet Treatment, and no one said a damn thing..

realistically, it comes down to folks hate Drake.. which is fine.. but, you cant use logical fallacies when it comes to a rapper/artist you respect/like, and find out they also have writers as well..

Drake survived, unscathed....it's over. Let it go. He'll fade out on his own. You're just hurting yourselves waiting for that hero to come along and take him out. Support real hip hop, whatever you think that is, and quit agonizing over what you consider to be fake. The 90s are never coming back. That era is never coming back. So these "rules" are never coming back. This is the new normal, you're already too late. You think these conglomerate record labels have been cultivating every aspect of these artists BUT their lyrics? It's all by design. Believe Drake was really in the bando brehs. :mjlol:

There there Liggins :mjcry: I know you simpathize(:mjpls:) with Drake because he's a soft bytch much like yourself but don't do this :mjcry:. You've been at all day talking about "it's over guise Drake survived :sadcam:" like the news ain't drop a day ago :russ:. The lames coming out of the woodworks to protect their messiah :wow:. Hip hop died when fakkits like you were able to cultivate and actually be a force in music. Now rappers don't even have to write their own ducktales anymore :wow:.

And before you come and inevitably say Views from the 6 (as written by Quentin Miller) is going to sell x millions first week and these are the new rules and all that other bullshyt, really think about what your supporting.

Nah. We just need his heir. His true heir. I don't think Drake was it. Hopefully there's someone's waiting in the winds to take him down. To just replace him. I don't think Drake was ever Hovs heir. I think he was the warning sign. Showing true hip hop heads how bad this can get. I think Hovs true Heir is on the way.

Watch the next heir be Canadian too. :heh:

OP is a Kanye stan. I don't give a fukk that he was a producer once he decided he was gonna be an MC the same rules applied to him. You not gonna front as a safe guard for the culture and be anti-ghostwriting when you stan Kanye.

OP has a deep-seeded irrational hatred for Drake and has been waiting for his downfall for quite some time.

Don't say don't let this become "normal" when it's been part of the game since the inception of the genre. Fukk your fake ass dap fishing, emotional rant. Don't even quote me.

What this month (July 2015) told us, anything that is done through lies eventually gets exposed. Like Birdman and his plot to kill Wayne. Or Fif forced to declare bankruptcy. Or Tyga and his tranny shyt. Or maybe Meek Mill and his ramblings.

All that "its by design" gets shytted on and the false foundation crumbles.
