for many of the greatest wrestlers of all time and influenced the attitude era

the matches were shyt tons better than anything WCW put out minus Cruiserweight division, and anything WWE put out minus the main events

Nope. Even as a kid I knew that shyt was hot garbage juice. I remember I saw Sabu vs Sandman on some PPV in 97. It was a ladder match and to this day still one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Just those two blowing spots, saying fukk it, set up another spot, blow it, rinse wash repeat. Only thing worth watching was Ribs and the Lucia’s. My dad copped tickets to some house show in 99. Me and him left after an hour. shyt was trash and it was nothing but fat neck beards screaming show you t*ts and other corny things non stop

If thats the match Im thinking of, Sandman was out cold for most of it and cant remember it lol...

And yea looking back it is mostly trash. It was cool back in 97/98 getting their tapes in the mail, felt underground and that you were apart of something different. Which is why the fan base is still there.

Hardcore Heaven 97 is still the WOAT PPV the company ever had. If ECW itself shyts on it’s own PPV, you know it was , esp coming off of Barely Legal


At least near the end, the remaining talent was still working their asses off and trying to be entertaining

In 1999 Bischoff took Sandman, Mikey and Shane. Vince took Dudleyz, Stevie and Tazz

In 2000, WCW took Awesome and Storm

Those were big hits. RVD was the last draw left and got injured in 2000. Justin Credible, Sabu, Lynn and some new guys (Corino, Rhino) and returning Sandman and Raven couldn't save it
