:heh: @ this logic

Thabo gets killed in the post by Bron then turns around and gives nothing on offense, while at least Harden offers something on offense

dumb ass Thunder fans

:what: I clearly said earlier and before the series that our best lineup is Westbrook Harden Thabo Durant Ibaka/Collison So where would harden go?

This.

Thabo taking jump shots and dunk attempts was the funniest spectacle in the playoffs outside of D. Fisher one man fastbreaks. He was an offensive liability, and the Heat forced the Thunder into making Thabo shoot.

Brooks HAD to get him off the court because of it.

:why: He was playing like garbage, why not switch up the line up to get something going?

and why shyt on Thabo, he did an excellent job in dismantling the Spurs :youngsabo:
If any adjust needed to be done as far as lineups go it was inserting Harden into the starting line up, from game 2 it was clear OKC was over matched, why not stick the potential all star Harden in the lineup, get him some rhythm confidence and minutes and switch things up

Scott Brooks and the Thunder are still working on a contract extension.

Brooks' contract expires on July 1st.

Sources told ESPN.com this week that the Thunder have offered Brooks an annual salary "north of $4 million."

Sources say the front office has brainstormed internally about possible replacements in case talks collapse. Jeff Van Gundy and Phil Jackson have been mentioned.

brooks is a terrible coach. just awful. no adjustments. he's counter's miami's small lineup.............with kendrick perkins. he's counters lebron's lack of outside shooting..........with double-teaming. 2 of the best 3-point shooting games the last 2 years have come with fisher on the squad. no coincidence. shyt him down.

he's was the anti-carlisle. this team has no structure or discipline. just another brian hill.

This makes sense, until you acknowledge the fact that Perkins was a liability on offense AND on defense, but he kept playing him. Thabos defense compensates for his bad offense

When thabo was on lebron there weren't any double teams and all of the games were competitive. When he defends lebron with harden he ended up with triple doubles

Lebron didn't make a single shot outside the paint last game. He made 10 shots outside of the paint for the entire series

Scott brooks performance looks bad even compared to spoelstra vs Dallas.

I still can't believe this idiot matched up kendrick Perkins with Bosh and had ibaka guarding small forwards. He should be blackballed....most incompetent coaching I can remember.

But it got to the point that Lebron was abusing Thabo as well and getting him into foul trouble. So you might as well put a player out there that can at least give you more offense, which Harden didn't.

Dog...I agree but Bosh would have had a field day if they moved Durant to the four.

The Heat just had answers for everything. They're the better team.

This moron just had to make the simplest and easy adjustments. Stop playing PErkins big minutes, did he not know that he is giving Lebron a rest everytime he Bron is guarding him because PErk is useless on offense. Where was Collison in game 5? Collison is better at practically every facet of the game compared to PErkins. Collison sets better screens, he is great at taking charges, can shoot, and finish better. Where was Cook at when you need a 3? Why would you give Fisher the green light to shoot anytime? The Heat was the better team, but mann the Thunder would have done much better if Brooks made the easiest adjustments everyone knew he should have made.
